The LockBit ransomware group on Tuesday published 1.5 terabytes of personal and financial information the group said it stole from Bank Syariah Indonesia after ransom negotiations broke down. The group said the records include the personal and financial information of about 15 million customers and employees of the country's largest Islamic bank. The state-owned bank came into existence in 2021 through the merger of three other nationalized banks. BSI operates more than 1,100 branches to serve nearly 18 million customers.

Bank Indonesia, the country's central bank, said on Thursday that under its supervision, BSI restored its real-time gross settlement, national clearing system, and Bank Indonesia Fast Payment services. BSI President and CEO Hery Gunardi on May 11 said ATMs and bank branch services were again available and it was carrying out "capacity building" to restore core banking and critical channels. Gunardi said the disruptions occurred on May 8 due to BSI carrying out "risk mitigation in the company's IT system by carrying out maintenance." The bank found indications of a cyberattack and "switched off several channels to ensure system security" he said.

LockBit responded that the bank had "brazenly lied to their customers and partners, reporting some kind of 'technical work' being carried out at the bank" when, in fact, its cyberattack had led to the disruptions. The ransomware group on Tuesday also published details of its conversations with bank representatives between May 8 and May 13. The screenshots reveal that the bank floated the possibility of paying $10 million to recover the stolen data. LockBit demanded $20 million before going silent. Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin said Monday that the BSI incident was a bad experience for the public, and he asked the bank to improve its technology to prevent further attacks.

    Description

The cross-lingual natural disaster dataset includes public tweets collected using Twitter’s public API, filtering by location-related keywords and date, without using any additional filtering (e.g., we did not restrict the query to specific languages). We considered five disaster events between January 2020 and February 2021 that received substantial news coverage internationally.

All messages include a “language” field computed by Twitter us ing a language detection model developed specifically for tweets. We counted the number of messages per language in each event. Three of the top languages were common to all the studied events: English (ISO 639-1 code: en), Spanish (es), and French (fr). Additionally, we found several hundred messages for each event in other languages, including Catalan (ca), Tagalog (tl), Croatian (hr), German (de), Japanese (ja), Indonesian (id), and Portuguese (pt).

After collecting the data, we labelled tweets or their translation to English that contained potentially informative factual information. We name this group of tweets “informative messages.” Next, we used crowdsourcing to further categorize the messages into various informational categories. We asked three different workers to label each of the approximately 5,700 informative messages across languages. The target categories were based on an ontology from TREC-IS 2018, where we grouped some low level ontology categories into higher-level ones.

    Description

    Context

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicators (MBTI) is one of the most popular personality model which creates a binary categorization based on four different dimensions and produces 16 possible personality type depending on the combination of these four values.

    • Introversion/Extraversion: The first dimension is connected to the person's energy. Extroverts prefer to put their energy into dealing with people, circumstances, or the outer world. Introverts prefer to focus their energies on dealing with ideas, facts, explanations, or beliefs, or the inner world.

    • iNtuition /Sensing: The second dimension is about how information is processed. Sensing is the type of person who wants to look at facts, with what is known. A person with iNtuition tends to experiment with ideas, investigate the unknown.

    • Feeling /Thinking: The third dimension is related to decision making. Thinking people make decisions based on objective reasoning and an independent perspective. The type of people who prefer to use values is Feeling.

    • Perception /Judgement: The final dimension is related to the way of life chosen. Judgment is the type of person that prefers to have their lives planned and structured. Perception is the type of person that prefers to go with the flow, to be adaptable, and to respond to events as they occur.

    Content

This dataset contains over 7800 rows of data, on each row is a user’s: Type (This persons 4 letter MBTI code/type) Each entry separated by "|||" (3 pipe characters)

    Acknowledgements

The dataset was obtained from Twitter through the use of TwitterAPI. To label users, search phrases such as "I am an...", "My MBTI is...", and "My personality type is..." were employed. Subsequently, for all personality types, data was collected through TwitterAPI queries. Users were then selected based on their self-reported personality types, and their timelines were utilized to collect tweets. To ensure data quality, only users who shared more than 200 words were included in the dataset. Throughout the data collection process, precision was given priority. It is important to recognize that despite the emphasis on precision in the data collection process, there may be biases in the dataset due to the search phrases used and the self-reported personality types of the users included. Ethical concerns surrounding the collection and utilization of data from social media platforms, such as Twitter, should also be taken into consideration.
