    Description

The Data Resiliency market is experiencing robust growth, projected to reach $16.65 billion by 2025 and maintain a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 18.5% from 2025 to 2033. This expansion is fueled by several key factors. The increasing frequency and severity of cyberattacks, coupled with stringent data privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA, are driving organizations to prioritize data protection and recovery strategies. The rise of cloud computing, while offering scalability and flexibility, also introduces new vulnerabilities, thus boosting demand for robust data resiliency solutions. Furthermore, the growing adoption of digital transformation initiatives across various industries is generating massive amounts of data, making effective data management and resilience crucial for business continuity. The market is segmented by deployment (on-premises and cloud), with the cloud segment expected to witness faster growth due to its inherent scalability and cost-effectiveness. Competition is intensifying among leading companies, each employing various competitive strategies such as mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and product innovation to gain market share. North America currently holds a significant market share, driven by early adoption of advanced technologies and stringent regulatory frameworks. However, regions like APAC, particularly China and Japan, are exhibiting rapid growth potential due to increasing digitalization and investment in data infrastructure. The forecast period (2025-2033) presents significant opportunities for vendors offering innovative solutions that address the evolving data protection landscape. These include advanced backup and recovery solutions, data replication technologies, disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), and robust security measures. While the market faces challenges such as high initial investment costs and complexity in implementing data resiliency strategies, the long-term benefits of preventing data loss and ensuring business continuity far outweigh the costs. The ongoing evolution of data storage technologies, coupled with the increasing sophistication of cyber threats, will continue to shape the market's trajectory, creating a dynamic environment for both established players and emerging companies.

    Description

Total count and biomass in grams of taxa identified from 4m beam trawl samples of the seabed, with associated station information. Samples were collected from three experimental treatment boxes only using two 4m beam trawls in parallel to simulate commercial beam trawling operations during the first of two research surveys on the RV Cefas Endeavour in April 2015.

    Description

Geography and geographic perspectives make important contributions to many other disciplines. This thesis project is designed to bring a geographic perspective to an ongoing archaeological investigation. The project is focused on Fort Saint Joseph, a French colonial mission, garrison and trading post built in 1691 and occupied for 90 years. The site has been excavated for six years and plans are in place for annual excavations until 2018. As the body of information about the site increases, a system for tracking geographic information about the site and the recovered artifacts becomes more vital. In this first application of computer mapping to the Fort St. Joseph project, ArcGIS is used to record and quantify excavation results, geophysical survey data, GPS data, and topographical data about the site. GIS analysis enables calculation of densities of artifact types, comparison of relationships between artifact recovery zones and predictions of unknown artifact densities. This thesis will illustrate the importance of a spatially informed archaeology, define the purpose and objectives of the research project, outline the methods that will be used, and discuss the impact of the project. Primarily the thesis will provide an exploratory view of the excavations at Fort St. Joseph, putting the spatial information about the site into a database for the first time and beginning to discern spatial patterns.

    Description

Total counts and biomass in grams of individual taxa identified from 0.1m squared Day Grab samples of the seabed with associated station information. The benthic macrofaunal samples were collected at sampling stations located within six experimental boxes (three treatments and three control) during a fishing impact recovery survey within the Fladen Grounds. Data were collected at three time points (before impact (time 0), immediately after impact (time 1) and 8 months after impact (time 2) during two research surveys on the RV Cefas Endeavour in April 2015 and November 2015.

message type, identifier type, station identifier, The station elevation, observation hour count, maximum air temperature, midas qc version number, minimum air temperature, The name for this station, minimum grass temperature, and 25 more
    Description

The UK daily temperature data contain maximum and minimum temperatures (air, grass and concrete slab) measured over a period of up to 24 hours. The measurements were recorded by observation stations operated by the Met Office across the UK and transmitted within NCM, DLY3208 or AWSDLY messages. The data span from 1853 to 2020. For details on measurement techniques, including calibration information and changes in measurements, see section 5.2 of the MIDAS User Guide linked to from this record. Soil temperature data may be found in the UK soil temperature datasets linked from this record.

This version supersedes the previous version of this dataset and a change log is available in the archive, and in the linked documentation for this record, detailing the differences between this version and the previous version. The change logs detail new, replaced and removed data. Of particular note, however, is that as well as including data for 2020, historical data recovery has added further data for Eskdalemuir (1915-1948) and Eastbourne (1887-1910).

This dataset is part of the Midas-open dataset collection made available by the Met Office under the UK Open Government Licence, containing only UK mainland land surface observations owned or operated by the Met Office. It is a subset of the fuller, restricted Met Office Integrated Data Archive System (MIDAS) Land and Marine Surface Stations dataset, also available through the Centre for Environmental Data Analysis - see the related dataset section on this record. Currently this represents approximately 95% of available daily temperature observations within the full MIDAS collection.
