    Description

This parcels dataset is a spatial representation of tax lots for Union County, New Jersey that have been extracted from the NJ statewide parcels composite by the NJ Office of Information Technology, Office of GIS (NJOGIS). Parcels at county boundaries have been modified to correspond with the NJ county boundaries and the parcels in adjacent counties. Each parcel contains a field named PAMS_PIN based on a concatenation of the county/municipality code, block number, lot number and qualification code. Using the PAMS_PIN, the dataset can be joined to the MOD-IV database table that contains supplementary attribute information regarding lot ownership and characteristics. Due to irregularities in the data development process, duplicate PAMS_PIN values exist in the parcel records. Users should avoid joining MOD-IV database table records to all parcel records with duplicate PAMS_PINs because of uncertainty regarding whether the MOD-IV records will join to the correct parcel records. There are also parcel records with unique PAMS_PIN values for which there are no corresponding records in the MOD-IV database tables. This is mostly due to the way data are organized in the MOD-IV database. The polygons delineated in the dataset do not represent legal boundaries and should not be used to provide a legal determination of land ownership. Parcels are not survey data and should not be used as such. The MOD-IV system provides for uniform preparation, maintenance, presentation and storage of property tax information required by the Constitution of the State of New Jersey, New Jersey Statutes and rules promulgated by the Director of the Division of Taxation. MOD-IV maintains and updates all assessment records and produces all statutorily required tax lists for property tax bills. This list accounts for all parcels of real property as delineated and identified on each municipality's official tax map, as well as taxable values and descriptive data for each parcel. Tax List records were received as raw data from the Taxation Team of NJOIT which collected source information from municipal tax assessors and created the statewide table. This table was subsequently processed for ease of use with NJ tax parcel spatial data and split into an individual table for each county.***NOTE*** For users who incorporate NJOGIS services into web maps and/or web applications, please sign up for the NJ Geospatial Forum discussion listserv for early notification of service changes. The TIGER/Line Files are shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) that are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line File is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. Linear Water Features includes single-line drainage water features and artificial path features that run through double-line drainage features such as rivers and streams, and serve as a linear representation of these features. The artificial path features may correspond to those in the USGS National Hydrographic Dataset (NHD). However, in many cases the features do not match NHD equivalent feature and will not carry the NHD metadata codes. These features have a MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code (MTFCC) beginning with an "H" to indicate the super class of Hydrographic Features.

    Description

The Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2025. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. The dataset extends countywide and is attribute by Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) code.DOR reference with FIPS county codes and attribution definitions - https://fgio.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=55e830fd6c8948baae1601fbfc33a3b2If you discover the inadvertent release of a confidential record exempt from disclosure pursuant to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, public records laws, immediately notify the Department of Revenue at 850-717-6570 and your local Florida Property Appraisers’ Office. Description

Three classes of impervious surfaces--buildings, roads, and other impervious--were mapped for New Jersey through a semi-automated process developed using eCognition software. The automated feature extraction workflow used a Geographic Object-Oriented Image Analysis (GEOBIA) framework to extract the three impervious classes from the source datasets which include digital imagery, LiDAR point clouds and several vector data sets including Land use/land cover, road centerlines and hydrographic features, using a rule-based expert system.

    Description

Download .zipA soil mapping unit designates a specific type of soil which has unique characteristics including texture, slope, and erosion class.

These soils were digitized from the paper final soil survey sheets. Originally these soils were numbered as part of a combination of soil surveys in Logan, Union and Champaign Counties. In order to cut down on the size of the matrix some soils were combined. In these soils several areas which would be normally considered not rated for most items in the soil survey were combined. Items combined include water, quarries, and sand and gravel pits. These sheets were taped together to form an area covering each of the USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps in the county. The areas for each quadrangle were then digitized using run-length encoding technique sampling along horizontal lines which represented the midline of cells with a height of 250 feet. The measurement increment along these lines was one decafoot (10 feet). The quadrangle files were then merged into a county file which has subsequently been converted to Arc/Info format.

The user should bear in mind that this coverage is only an approximation of the soil survey and should not be used for site specific analysis.

Additional details of the digitizing process are available upon request.

Download .zipMaps and data associated with oil-and-gas wells represent one of the largest datasets at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. This GIS data layer contains all the locatable oil-and-gas wells in Ohio. The feature is derived from coordinates obtained from the Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (DOGRM) oil and gas well database – Risk Based Data Management System (RBDMS). The RBDMS database has a long history and is a comprehensive collection of well data from historic pre-1980 paper well records (digitized by the Division of Geological Survey (DGS)) to post-1980 DOGRM database solutions.Since 1860, it is estimated that more than 267,000 oil-and-gas wells have been drilled in Ohio. The compressed file also includes a feature used to connect the surface location to the bottom location of a well that has been drilled directionally or horizontally. This feature is NOT the actual wellbore path, it is simply a graphical representation indicating the relationship between the two well points.Contact Information:GIS Support, ODNR GIS ServicesOhio Department of Natural ResourcesDivision of Oil & Gas ResourcesOil and Gas Resources Management2045 Morse Road Bldg F-2Columbus, OH, 43229-6693Telephone: 614-265-6462Email: gis.support@dnr.ohio.gov Data Update Frequency: Every Saturday

    Description

County comprehensive plans are required by state law and serve as a guide for local government. While not a legal document dictating how a community is to be developed, a comprehensive plan establishes a community's vision, a framework for future growth and preservation, goals and strategies, and actions to achieve desired outcomes.

    Description

Download .zipThis map was derived from the Union County Soil Survey by combining the Natural Resources Conservation Service Limitation ratings for homesites and septic tank absorption fields.

Soils used in this analysis were digitized from the paper original soil survey sheets.

Original coverage data was converted from the .e00 file to a more standard ESRI shapefile(s) in November 2014.Contact Information:GIS Support, ODNR GIS ServicesOhio Department of Natural ResourcesReal Estate & Land ManagementReal Estate and Lands Management2045 Morse Rd, Bldg I-2Columbus, OH, 43229Telephone: 614-265-6462Email: gis.support@dnr.ohio.gov Data Update Frequency: As Needed
