TwitterThis file contains the National Statistics UPRN Lookup (NSUL) for Great Britain as at July 2017. The NSUL relates the Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN) for each GB address from AddressBase® Epoch 50 to a range of current statutory administrative, electoral, health and other statistical geographies via 'best-fit' allocation from 2011 Census output areas (National Parks and Workplace Zones are exempt from 'best-fit' and use 'exact-fit' allocations). The NSUL is produced by ONS Geography, who provide geographic support to the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and geographic services used by other organisations. The NSUL is issued every 6 weeks and is designed to complement the Ordnance Survey AddressBase® product. For further technical information about this file, please refer to the User Guide document contained within the downloadable zip file. Please note that this product contains Royal Mail, Gridlink, Ordnance Survey and ONS Intellectual Property Rights. (File Size – 375 MB) This version 2 of the directory contains amended files for all regions except London and Wales. The first release had incorrect National Park allocations for England and Scotland. (File amended 28/07/2017)

The same information is available in a much more user-friendly format in the Services near me page on the main council website, and anyone interested in enrolling a child in school should see the page on Enrolment in Primary and Secondary Schools in Dundee
Purpose
This map layer is provided here as a hosted feature layer that is intended for use in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) like ArcGIS, or live integrations like Granicus Customer Services. The REST API can provide this data with or without Geometry as required.
Description
This layer includes the UPRN (Unique Property Reference Number) of every address in Dundee, plus information about the catchment schools for these addresses.
There are 4 records for each address representing the 4 different types of school catchments i.e.
Denominational Primary Non-denominational (Roman Catholic) Primary Denominational Secondary Non-denominational (Roman Catholic) Secondary
PrivacyThis layer does not contain any personal information, so there are no pupil names etc. All addresses are included, whether or not there are any pupils at that address.
Copyright Limitations
Due to copyright reasons there are no actual addresses in this data, so there are no building numbers, streetnames, postcodes etc. If actual addresses are required these can be obtained from other products and services such as the Council's Corporate Address Gazetteer (CAG), the One Scotland Gazetteer (OSG) or Ordnance Survey's AddressBase, NGD and OS Places API.The UPRNs and UPRN locations in this layer can also be found in the Ordnance Survey Open UPRN product,
Updates
This data is updated each night with the latest UPRNs from the Council's Corporate Address Gazetteer (CAG). Catchment data are taken from the Council's current catchment boundaries layer ("SchoolsAndCatchments - Current") which is updated as required. This typically happens around October or November before enrolment starts for the next school year each year. The data may therefore reflect the catchments that are due to take effect at the start of the next school year. For more details on the catchment data please see the the Council's current catchment boundaries layer ("SchoolsAndCatchments - Current")
Integration tips
To see how to query this layer please see the 'API Explorer' or, to retrieve json with just the school names for a UPRN , please see the example below:https://services.arcgis.com/GlZ1P6ksdiXNYhvC/arcgis/rest/services/UPRNs_with_school_catchments/FeatureServer/0/query?where=uprn=%27000117117191%27&outFields=school&returnGeometry=false&f=pJSON
Please also note that UPRN is a text field that must contain 12 digits with leading zeroes, and must be enclosed in single quotes. These quotes and other special characters can be used in plain text as shown above, or URLencoded as shown in the API explorer.Related DataUsers who wish to see catchment boundaries or identify the catchment area(s) for a location described by XY coordinates may wish to use the "SchoolsandCatchments - Current" boundary layer on which this UPRN layer is based. This does not contain any UPRN info, but it does provide a REST API and API explorer.Internal DCC GIS users may also use a version of this layer which includes full CAG addresses: CAG with school catchments. This is not available as open data for copyright reasons.

TwitterThe national address gazetteer brings together address information from local authorities and Ordnance Survey to create a ‘national address gazetteer database’, providing one definitive source of accurate publicly-owned spatial address data for the whole of the public sector. To deliver this, the Local Government Group and Ordnance Survey have entered into a joint venture partnership, ‘GeoPlace™’, from which address products have been created. It brings together local government’s address and streets gazetteers - the National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG), National Street Gazetteer (NSG) and One Scotland Gazetteer (OSG) - with all of Ordnance Survey’s addressing products - ADDRESS-POINT® and OS MasterMap® Address Layer and Address Layer 2. The national address gazetteer contains the existing unique identifiers and the definitive street name and number (generated by local authorities) with the postcode from the Royal Mail as well as a link to the map base from Ordnance Survey, through the OS TOID® and grid reference. The data contains the unique property reference number (UPRN) and unique street reference number (USRN) from the NLPG and OSG as the primary keys.

A Building Standards Register is maintained by local authorities under the terms of Section 24 of the Building (Scotland) Act 2003. Local authorities are responsible for granting permission for work to be done (building warrant) and for a completed building to be occupied (completion certificate). These registers are online and searchable and published as weekly lists in a similar way to planning applications.
Registers typically contain details of applications at the following stages of the building warrant process:
The datasets are presented as follows:
This data is collected and published weekly (for weekly lists) and this metadata record is updated weekly.
We strongly recommend that, when using the WFS for this dataset, because of it's size you should use it with a filter.
Moray's planning data has currently been removed from this dataset. We will find a solution to this in due course

TwitterEnergy Performance Certificates (EPCs):An EPC provides information about how energy efficient a building is, and how the efficiency could be improved. Buildings are rated on a scale from A to G, with A being the most efficient. The EPC also provides:information on measures which could be made to improve the energy efficiency of the buildingan indicative cost for each improvementThe EPC is accompanied by a recommendations report which provides more detailed information about improvement measures. For further support and guidance, please visit the following: Scottish Government's EPC GuidanceStirling Council's Publication Schedule and Data:EPC Registry data is usually published quarterly and as an individual dataset - Stirling will publish a single dataset, updated incrementally with each released quarter, for its respective reporting year.
