Digital topographic maps are raster data from the existing topographic national map series. The raster data is divided into different levels according to cartographic content elements and can be submitted as individual levels or as a colored combination. The DTK50 are digital topographic maps, which are derived from a corresponding ATKIS-DLM in new map graphics and level structure. It is available in 24 individual levels (single layers) in black and white or in color combination in different resolutions. The raster data can be used as individual sheets in the sheet section of the topographic maps and as sheet section-free preparations (overall file and/or tiles) in various geodetic reference systems and map projections covering the entire area or excerpts for the federal state of Thuringia.

The DTK50 is the topographical map in raster format generated from the DLM50 and a DTM. The raster data is available according to cartographic content elements in 25 individual levels (single layers) with a resolution of 508 ppi and in monochrome or colored combinations (sum layers). They are issued both in the page cut of the TK50 and without a page cut for the Free State of Saxony.
