    This data set contains the Monthly Visitors via Pedestrian Access Gates to Malahide Demesne from 2019 to 2022 inclusive see the new data set from 2023 onwards.Malahide Castle Demesne and parkland boasts pleasant walks, play areas, sporting facilities. This wonderful 268 acre (109 Hectare) park hosts the recently redeveloped Malahide Castle and Gardens offering a fun and informative experience for any visitor. There is also the opportunity to enjoy some of the wonderful food and purchases available in the Avoca restaurant and retail area.The park also boasts a large children's playground, mature 9-hole par 3 golf course, 18-hole pitch & putt course, sports pitches, tennis courts, cricket pitch and exercise trail.Malahide Castle and Gardens is managed by Aramark. For more information, visit the castle website https://www.malahidecastleandgardens.ie/The amenity is situated within easy walking distance of the center of Malahide Village, with easy access from the local train station. By car, it is signposted from theM1/N1 Dublin-Belfast and from the main Dublin to Malahide road. By Bus, it can be reached by 42from Talbot Street in Dublin city center.One of the draws is the Talbot Botanic Gardens at Malahide Castle and Demesne Regional Park are ornamental gardens adjoining the castle, and cover an area of about 22 acres. In all there are in excess of 5000 different species and varieties of plants present. The Gardens are managed by Shannon Heritage on behalf of Fingal County Council.Opening Hours Vary see belowThe opening hours vary throughout the year. In January, November and December it is open from 9am to 5pm, while in February and March it is open from 9am to 6pm. In April and September remains open until 8pm, while from May to August it opens until 9pm. In October the park is open until 7pm.
