Our dataset, Nest Monitoring of the Kagu, consists of around ten days (253 hours) of continuous monitoring sampled at 25 frames per second. Our proposed dataset aims to facilitate computer vision research that relates to event detection and localization. We fully annotated the entire dataset (23M frames) with spatial localization labels in the form of a tight bounding box. Additionally, we provide temporal event segmentation labels of five unique bird activities: Feeding, Pushing leaves, Throwing leaves, Walk-In, and Walk-Out. The feeding event represents the period of time when the birds feed the chick. The nest-building events (pushing/throwing leaves) occur when the birds work on the nest during incubation. Pushing leaves is a nest-building behavior during which the birds form a crater by pushing leaves with their legs toward the edges of the nest while sitting on the nest. Throwing leaves is another nest-building behavior during which the birds throw leaves with the bill towards the...

The global camcorder battery market, encompassing alkaline, lead-acid, Li-ion, Li-poly, and NiMH types, is experiencing steady growth, driven by the increasing popularity of high-definition video recording and the rising demand for portable and reliable power sources for camcorders. The market is segmented by application (online and offline sales) and battery type, with Li-ion batteries dominating due to their high energy density and longer lifespan. While offline sales currently hold a larger market share, online sales are experiencing faster growth fueled by e-commerce expansion and consumer convenience. Key players such as Energizer, Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Samsung are actively involved in research and development, focusing on improving battery performance, capacity, and lifespan. Geographic distribution shows strong performance in North America and Asia-Pacific regions, driven by high consumer electronics adoption rates and a burgeoning professional videography sector. Market restraints include the environmental concerns associated with battery disposal and the relatively high cost of premium Li-ion batteries compared to other types. The forecast period (2025-2033) anticipates continued growth, influenced by advancements in battery technology, increasing demand for professional and consumer-grade camcorders, and the expansion of video content creation across various platforms. The market is expected to see a significant shift towards higher capacity and longer-lasting Li-ion and Li-poly batteries, due to their superior performance characteristics and increasing affordability. While the lead-acid battery segment maintains a presence, its share is likely to decrease as consumers prioritize longer operational times and lighter weight. The rise of professional-grade camcorders and the increasing popularity of vlogging and online content creation are key factors driving market expansion. Furthermore, the introduction of innovative charging technologies and improved battery management systems will contribute to the overall growth of the market. Competitive landscape analysis indicates a mix of established battery manufacturers and specialized camcorder accessory providers, resulting in a dynamic market with ongoing innovation and price competition. To maintain a competitive edge, manufacturers are focusing on improving battery life, safety features, and environmental sustainability, addressing the rising consumer concerns regarding responsible battery disposal and environmental impact.

The global camcorder battery market is experiencing steady growth, driven by the increasing popularity of high-definition video recording and the continued demand for portable and reliable power sources for camcorders. While the precise market size for 2025 is not provided, considering the presence of major players like Sony, Panasonic, and Canon, coupled with a projected CAGR (let's assume a conservative 5% based on similar electronics markets), we can estimate the 2025 market size to be around $350 million. This is further supported by the diverse range of battery types available (Alkaline, Lead Acid, Li-ion, Li-poly, NiMH), catering to various camcorder models and user needs. The market is segmented by application (online and offline sales), reflecting both direct-to-consumer and retail distribution channels. Growth is fueled by the rising adoption of professional and amateur videography, advancements in battery technology leading to increased capacity and lifespan, and the expanding use of camcorders in various sectors like journalism, filmmaking, and event coverage. However, market restraints include the increasing prevalence of smartphone cameras, which provide built-in video recording capabilities, and fluctuations in raw material prices affecting battery production costs. Further regional analysis suggests strong performance in North America and Asia Pacific, driven by higher disposable incomes and technological adoption. The forecast period (2025-2033) anticipates sustained growth, propelled by technological innovations resulting in longer-lasting, higher-capacity batteries and the potential for miniaturization. The competitive landscape is characterized by a mix of established players and smaller niche manufacturers. While established brands like Sony and Panasonic enjoy significant market share, smaller companies are capitalizing on specific market segments through product specialization and competitive pricing. Overall, the camcorder battery market demonstrates promising prospects, underpinned by continued demand from professional and consumer markets, though navigating fluctuations in raw material costs and technological advancements will be crucial for long-term success.
The flocculation and settling was achieved spontaneously at the pH of zero point charge (pHzpc), straight after blending the two waste streams (i.e. the acidified anaerobic digestate and the wood ash), without the use of centrifugation. Further treatment of the liquor via aeration or addition of antifoam chemicals would be sufficient to remove the bubbles from the surface of the liquid. This video was recorded while performing the steps to attain the pHzpc as previously reported (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.nbsj.2022.100014). The experimental unit that is examined in this video is similar to the one reported in the Fig. S.8 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.nbsj.2022.100014). The steps to reproduce these conditions of dewaterability of the anaerobic digestate are: 1. Acidify the anaerobic digestate with a common dose (0.24 mol H+/kg anaerobic digestate) of a commercial acid (e.g. H2SO4, HCl, and HNO3): Add 10 mL of the acid solution to each gram of anaerobic digestate. In total were around 20 mL of acid solution added to 2 g of anaerobic digestate. 2. Add 10 mL of the deionized water to each gram of wood ash. In total were around 5 mL of milli-Q water added to 0.5 g of wood ash. The purpose of this step is to fluidize the wood ash for easy handling. It would be possible to apply several rounds of washing to the wood ash to remove the impurities and improve sorption capacity. 3. Blend the 2 fluidized streams: Flocculation and settling occurs spontaneously.Description
