    For large areas, like Washington State, download as a file geodatabase. Large data sets like this one, for the State of Washington, may exceed the limits for downloading as shape files, excel files, or KML files. For areas less than a county, you may use the map to zoom to your area and download as shape file, excel or KML, if that format is desired.The Boundary layer consists of lines representing the boundaries of Parcels and Legal Descriptions. (See the metadata for those two layers.) Boundary lines are the places that are surveyed in order to delimit the extent of Parcels and Legal Descriptions. The character and accuracy of Boundary locations is held in the attributes of the Points that are at the ends of Boundary lines. All the boundaries of Parcels and Legal Descriptions are covered by a Boundary line. Currently the Boundary layer has little functionality. The only distinction it makes is between upland boundaries and shorelines. In the future Boundary lines will have a richer set of attributes in order to accommodate cartographic needs to distinguish between types of boundaries.WA Boundaries Metadata

    The Washington State Parcels Project provides a statewide data set of tax parcels attributes that cover those counties that currently have digital tax parcels. Attribute data has been normalized so that the field names are the same across all counties. The data set contains the tax parcel identification number, situs addresses, the Department of Revenue land use codes, improvement and land values, and a link to the county's assessor's website for parcel information (if it exists). NOTE: web maps in AGOL do not display true curves as curves but rather simple lines between vertices. This is a known limitation. If the layer is added to an ArcGIS Pro map, true curves will display correctly. Some counties/areas use true curves and some do not.

    TheFlorida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions between March 15 to April 1, 2023. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries.The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed.     King County Assessor data has been summarized to the tax parcel identification number (PIN) and City of Seattle spatial overlay data has been assigned through geographic overlay processes. This data is updated periodically and is used to support the analytical and reporting functions of the City of Seattle long-range and policy planning office.

    The table includes attribute data from the King County Assessor as well as spatial overlay data for various City of Seattle reporting geographies. These geographic attributes are assigned as "majority rules" by land area in cases where multiple geographies span a single tax parcel.

    KCA tax parcels are created by King County for property tax assessment and collection and may not match development sites as defined by the City of Seattle (single buildings may span multiple tax parcels), may be stacked on top of each other to represent undivided interest and vertical parcels, or may be made up of several sites that are not contiguous. Every effort is made to accurately summarize key tax parcel attributes to a single PIN.

    Attributes include parcel centroid locations in latitude/longitude and Washington State Plane X,Y. To get polygon representation of the data please see King County's open data page for parcels and join this table through the PIN field. Please be aware that the King County Assessor site address is not a postal address and may not match other address sources for the same property such as postal, utility billing, and permitting.

    The State of Washington's aquatic land ownership records have been maintained on marine index maps or index plates. These are hand drafted maps some of which are over 100 years old. The aquatic parcel dataset places the ownership records into a spatial GIS system.The data was initially derived from drawings, not maps, which were georeferenced to calculated meander corners. As such, there cannot be much of a claim of spatial accuracy. Land use attribute data has been normalized for all county parcel data to conform to the two digit DOR codes. All county parcel layers are dissolved using the normalized land use code. No county parcel information remains in this data other that what geometry remains from the dissolve process.

    Update information can be found within the layer’s attributes and in a table on the Utah Parcel Data webpage under LIR Parcels.In Spring of 2016, the Land Information Records work group, an informal committee organized by the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget’s State Planning Coordinator, produced recommendations for expanding the sharing of GIS-based parcel information. Participants in the LIR work group included representatives from county, regional, and state government, including the Utah Association of Counties (County Assessors and County Recorders), Wasatch Front Regional Council, Mountainland and Bear River AOGs, Utah League of Cities and Towns, UDOT, DNR, AGRC, the Division of Emergency Management, Blue Stakes, economic developers, and academic researchers. The LIR work group’s recommendations set the stage for voluntary sharing of additional objective/quantitative parcel GIS data, primarily around tax assessment-related information. Specifically the recommendations document establishes objectives, principles (including the role of local and state government), data content items, expected users, and a general process for data aggregation and publishing. An important realization made by the group was that ‘parcel data’ or ‘parcel record’ products have a different meaning to different users and data stewards. The LIR group focused, specifically, on defining a data sharing recommendation around a tax year parcel GIS data product, aligned with the finalization of the property tax roll by County Assessors on May 22nd of each year. The LIR recommendations do not impact the periodic sharing of basic parcel GIS data (boundary, ID, address) from the County Recorders to AGRC per 63F-1-506 (3.b.vi). Both the tax year parcel and the basic parcel GIS layers are designed for general purpose uses, and are not substitutes for researching and obtaining the most current, legal land records information on file in County records. This document, below, proposes a schedule, guidelines, and process for assembling county parcel and assessment data into an annual, statewide tax parcel GIS layer. gis.utah.gov/data/sgid-cadastre/ It is hoped that this new expanded parcel GIS layer will be put to immediate use supporting the best possible outcomes in public safety, economic development, transportation, planning, and the provision of public services. Another aim of the work group was to improve the usability of the data, through development of content guidelines and consistent metadata documentation, and the efficiency with which the data sharing is distributed.GIS Layer Boundary Geometry:GIS Format Data Files: Ideally, Tax Year Parcel data should be provided in a shapefile (please include the .shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj, and .xml component files) or file geodatabase format. An empty shapefile and file geodatabase schema are available for download at:At the request of a county, AGRC will provide technical assistance to counties to extract, transform, and load parcel and assessment information into the GIS layer format.Geographic Coverage: Tax year parcel polygons should cover the area of each county for which assessment information is created and digital parcels are available. Full coverage may not be available yet for each county. The county may provide parcels that have been adjusted to remove gaps and overlaps for administrative tax purposes or parcels that retain these expected discrepancies that take their source from the legally described boundary or the process of digital conversion. The diversity of topological approaches will be noted in the metadata.One Tax Parcel Record Per Unique Tax Notice: Some counties produce an annual tax year parcel GIS layer with one parcel polygon per tax notice. In some cases, adjacent parcel polygons that compose a single taxed property must be merged into a single polygon. This is the goal for the statewide layer but may not be possible in all counties. AGRC will provide technical support to counties, where needed, to merge GIS parcel boundaries into the best format to match with the annual assessment information.Standard Coordinate System: Parcels will be loaded into Utah’s statewide coordinate system, Universal Transverse Mercator coordinates (NAD83, Zone 12 North). This data is updated periodically and is used to support the analytical and reporting functions of the City of Seattle long-range and policy planning office.The table includes attribute data from the King County Assessor as well as spatial overlay data for various City of Seattle reporting geographies. These geographic attributes are assigned as "majority rules" by land area in cases where multiple geographies span a single tax parcel.KCA tax parcels are created by King County for property tax assessment and collection and may not match development sites as defined by the City of Seattle (single buildings may span multiple tax parcels), may be stacked on top of each other to represent undivided interest and vertical parcels, or may be made up of several sites that are not contiguous. Every effort is made to accurately summarize key tax parcel attributes to a single PIN. Attributes include parcel centroid locations in latitude/longitude and Washington State Plane X,Y. To get polygon representation of the data please see King County's open data page for parcels and join this table through the PIN field. Please be aware that the King County Assessor site address is not a postal address and may not match other address sources for the same property such as postal, utility billing, and permitting.See the detailed data dictionary for more information.

    This feature service is available through CT ECO, a partnership between UConn CLEAR and CT DEEP. It is also available as a map service and a tiled map service. This dataset is a statewide service of municipal parcels (properties) including their geometry (polygon shape) and attributes (tabular information about each parcel). In order to preserve the attributes, each municipality is added individually to the service.

    This cadastral polygon dataset is a digital representation of all land parcel boundaries within Western Australia at a particular point in time. It represents all crown land (land owned by the State) and freehold land (land held in fee simple) and was sourced from the Spatial Cadastral Database (SCDB) which is the official digital cadastral map base of all crown and freehold land parcels within the State of Western Australia. The dataset covers the State of Western Australia and includes the Commonwealth jurisdictions of Cocos Keeling Island and Christmas Island. This dataset contains only those land parcel boundaries that were current (integrated) at the time of extraction (ie: does not contain "lodged" land parcels) and includes easement and other interests. NOTE: This product is for information purposes only and is not guaranteed. The information may be out of date and should not be relied upon without further verification from the original documents.     This dataset describes Tribal Lands in Washington State. Included are areas where the tribes ceded title to their historic areas of use to the U.S. Government through various treaties enacted during the later half of the 19th century. Boundary lines have been digitized from a variety of digital data sources including 1:100,000 streams for boundaries described in treaties as following a stream or river, 1:24k Water Resource Inventory Areas (WRIA), Watershed Administrative Unit (WAU) and Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) boundaries for boundaries referred to in treaties as 'divide', 'summit' or 'between the waters of', 1:100,000 Major Public Lands (for current reservation areas), 10 meter DEM and 7.5 minute USGS digital Quad maps (to define ridgelines and 'divide' where WRIA, WAU or HUC boundaries don't exist) and NAIP orthophoto imagery (to get a feel for what a questionable boundary area actually looks like today). Ceded Land treaty areas are based on treaty language and US Government decrees dated 1854-1892. Natural geographic barriers such as streams and ridge lines were used where described or eluded to in treaty descriptions. Coordinate based latitude/longitude boundary lines were used in some Central Washington areas where described. References to general compass directions were followed using natural barriers such as watershed boundaries or drainages wherever possible. Some treaty boundary descriptions were found to be inadequate, inaccurate and in some cases misleading in nature in describing what should have been a natural boundary or even a coordinate based solution to a property description. Some of these boundary areas open to interpretation are discussed below in the Supplemental Information based on the language and definite boundaries of other treaty areas. Ceded areas in Oregon and Idaho from the Camp Stevens Treaties have been included in this dataset. The Washington State Department of Ecology makes no warranty for the accuracy of this material and is not libel for its use. Ecology will maintain this data layer for its own use and distribute to all interested parties. Updates, corrections and documentation should be submitted to the contact person. This data may or may not reflect the most current tribal reservation areas. Tribal reservations are updated regularly in the Major Public Lands (MPL) layer maintained by Washington State Department of Natural Resources. This GIS data is draft information and a work in progress and should be used only as a generalized visual guide to 150 year old treaties of limited content.

    Description

    This dataset is a compilation of tax parcel polygon and point layers from the seven Twin Cities, Minnesota metropolitan area counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington. The seven counties were assembled into a common coordinate system. No attempt has been made to edgematch or rubbersheet between counties. A standard set of attribute fields is included for each county. (See section 5 of the metadata). The attributes are the same for the polygon and points layers. Not all attributes are populated for all counties.

    The polygon layer contains one record for each real estate/tax parcel polygon within each county's parcel dataset. Some counties will polygons for each individual condominium, and others do not. (See Completeness in Section 2 of the metadata for more information.) The points layer includes the same attribute fields as the polygon dataset. The points are intended to provide information in situations where multiple tax parcels are represented by a single polygon. The primary example of this is the condominium. Condominiums, by definition, are legally owned as individual, taxed real estate units. Records for condominiums may not show up in the polygon dataset. The points for the point dataset often will be randomly placed or stacked within the parcel polygon with which they are associated.

    The polygon layer is broken into individual county shape files. The points layer is one file for the entire metro area.

    In many places a one-to-one relationship does not exist between these parcel polygons or points and the actual buildings or occupancy units that lie within them. There may be many buildings on one parcel and there may be many occupancy units (e.g. apartments, stores or offices) within each building. Additionally, no information exists within this dataset about residents of parcels. Parcel owner and taxpayer information exists for many, but not all counties.

    This is a MetroGIS Regionally Endorsed dataset.

    Each of the seven Metro Area counties has entered into a multiparty agreement with the Metropolitan Council to assemble and distribute the parcel data for each county as a regional (seven county) parcel dataset.

    A standard set of attribute fields is included for each county. The attributes are identical for the point and polygon datasets. Not all attributes fields are populated by each county. Detailed information about the attributes can be found in the MetroGIS Regional Parcels Attributes 2009 document.

For large areas, like Washington State, download as a file geodatabase. Large data sets like this one, for the State of Washington, may exceed the limits for downloading as shape files, excel files, or KML files. For areas less than a county, you may use the map to zoom to your area and download as shape file, excel or KML, if that format is desired.The Boundary layer consists of lines representing the boundaries of Parcels and Legal Descriptions. (See the metadata for those two layers.) Boundary lines are the places that are surveyed in order to delimit the extent of Parcels and Legal Descriptions. The character and accuracy of Boundary locations is held in the attributes of the Points that are at the ends of Boundary lines. All the boundaries of Parcels and Legal Descriptions are covered by a Boundary line. Currently the Boundary layer has little functionality. The only distinction it makes is between upland boundaries and shorelines. In the future Boundary lines will have a richer set of attributes in order to accommodate cartographic needs to distinguish between types of boundaries.WA Boundaries Metadata
