    Description

This parcels dataset is a spatial representation of tax lots for Warren County, New Jersey that have been extracted from the NJ statewide parcels composite by the NJ Office of Information Technology, Office of GIS (NJOGIS). Parcels at county boundaries have been modified to correspond with the NJ county boundaries and the parcels in adjacent counties. Each parcel contains a field named PAMS_PIN based on a concatenation of the county/municipality code, block number, lot number and qualification code. Using the PAMS_PIN, the dataset can be joined to the MOD-IV database table that contains supplementary attribute information regarding lot ownership and characteristics. Due to irregularities in the data development process, duplicate PAMS_PIN values exist in the parcel records. Users should avoid joining MOD-IV database table records to all parcel records with duplicate PAMS_PINs because of uncertainty regarding whether the MOD-IV records will join to the correct parcel records. There are also parcel records with unique PAMS_PIN values for which there are no corresponding records in the MOD-IV database tables. This is mostly due to the way data are organized in the MOD-IV database. The polygons delineated in the dataset do not represent legal boundaries and should not be used to provide a legal determination of land ownership. Parcels are not survey data and should not be used as such. The MOD-IV (Tax Assessor's) table for the county is packaged together with the parcels as one download. The MOD-IV system provides for uniform preparation, maintenance, presentation and storage of property tax information required by the Constitution of the State of New Jersey, New Jersey Statutes and rules promulgated by the Director of the Division of Taxation. MOD-IV maintains and updates all assessment records and produces all statutorily required tax lists for property tax bills. This list accounts for all parcels of real property as delineated and identified on each municipality's official tax map, as well as taxable values and descriptive data for each parcel. Tax List records were received as raw data from the Taxation Team of NJOIT which collected source information from municipal tax assessors and created the statewide table. This table was subsequently processed for ease of use with NJ tax parcel spatial data and split into an individual table for each county.***NOTE*** For users who incorporate NJOGIS services into web maps and/or web applications, please sign up for the NJ Geospatial Forum discussion listserv for early notification of service changes. Description

This parcels data set is a spatial representation of municipal tax lots for Warren County, New Jersey.

The data set was updated and normalized between 2009 - 2011 as a component of the New Jersey Office of Information Technology, Office of GIS (OGIS) Parcels Normalization Project to develop a statewide composite of parcels data. During this project, parcels were modified at municipal boundaries to conform to the spatial framework of the OGIS Municipalities of New Jersey (nj_munis) data set, and attributes were modified to conform with the New Jersey GIS Parcel Mapping Standard.

Each parcel contains a unique identifier based on a county/municipality code, block number, lot number and qualification code. Using the unique identifier, the data set can be joined to MOD-IV database tables that contain supplementary attribute information regarding lot ownership and characteristics.

There are also parcel records with unique PAMS_PINs for which there are no corresponding records in MOD-IV database tables. This is mostly due to the way data are organized in the MOD-IV database.

Parcels are not survey data and should not be used as such. The polygons delineated in this data set do not represent legal boundaries and should not be used to provide a legal determination of land ownership.

    Description

This resource is a member of a series. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The All Roads Shapefile includes all features within the MTDB Super Class "Road/Path Features" distinguished where the MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code (MTFCC) for the feature in MTDB that begins with "S". This includes all primary, secondary, local neighborhood, and rural roads, city streets, vehicular trails (4wd), ramps, service drives, alleys, parking lot roads, private roads for service vehicles (logging, oil fields, ranches, etc.), bike paths or trails, bridle/horse paths, walkways/pedestrian trails, and stairways.

Publication Date: March 2025 2023-2024 Parcel Data. Updated annually, or as needed. The data can be downloaded here: https://gis.ny.gov/parcels#data-download. This feature service has two layers: 1) NYS Tax Parcels Public, and 2) NYS Tax Parcels Public Footprint which contains polygons representing counties for which tax parcel polygons are available in the NYS Tax Parcels Public layer. County footprint polygons display when zoomed out beyond 1:37,050-scale. Tax parcel polygons display when zoomed in below 1:37,051-scale. The NYS Tax Parcels Public layer contains 2023-2024 parcel data only for NY State counties which gave NYS ITS Geospatial Services permission to share this data with the public. Work to obtain parcel data from additional counties, as well as permission to share the data, is ongoing. To date, 36 counties have provided Geospatial Services permission to share their parcel data with the public. Parcel data for counties which do not allow Geospatial Services to redistribute their data must be obtained directly from those counties. Geospatial Services' goal is to eventually include parcel data for all counties in New York State. Parcel geometry was incorporated as received from County Real Property Departments. No attempt was made to edge-match parcels along adjacent counties. County attribute values were populated using 2023-2024 Assessment Roll tabular data the NYS ITS Geospatial Services obtained from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance’s Office of Real Property Tax Services (ORPTS). Tabular assessment data was joined to the county provided parcel geometry using the SWIS & SBL or SWIS & PRINT KEY unique identifier for each parcel. Detailed information about assessment attributes can be found in the ORPTS Assessor’s Manuals available here: https://www.tax.ny.gov/research/property/assess/manuals/assersmanual.htm. New York City data comes from NYC MapPluto which can be found here: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/planning/data-maps/open-data/dwn-pluto-mappluto.page. Thanks to the following counties that specifically authorized Geospatial Services to share their GIS tax parcel data with the public: Albany, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Cortland, Erie, Genesee, Greene, Hamilton, Lewis, Livingston, Montgomery, NYC- Bronx, NYC- Kings (Brooklyn), NYC- New York (Manhattan), NYC- Queens, NYC- Richmond (Staten Island), Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Orange, Oswego, Otsego, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Schuyler, St Lawrence, Steuben, Suffolk, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins, Ulster, Warren, Wayne, and Westchester. Geometry accuracy varies by contributing county. This map service is available to the public. The New Jersey Office of Information Technology (OIT), Office of GIS (OGIS) has enhanced the previously published NJ Department of Transportation (DOT) Roadway Network GIS data set to create a fully segmented Road Centerlines of New Jersey feature class. This dataset includes fully parsed address information and additional roadway characteristics. It provides the geometric framework for display and query of relevant non-spatial data published as separate tables that can be joined to the feature class. The enhancement process included integration of multiple data sets, primarily those developed and maintained by county agencies in New Jersey and the US Census Bureau.

Download .zipThe Ohio Wetlands Inventory is based on analysis of satellite data by Bruce R. Motsch and Gary M. Schaal and is intended solely as an indicator of wetland sites for which field review should be conducted. The satellite data reflect conditions during the specific year and season the data was acquired and all wetlands may not be indicated. Statistics generated from the inventory are intended solely as an approximation.

The Ohio Wetland Inventory for Warren County was produced from May 1985 Landsat Thematic mapper data (cell size 30 meters by 30 meters) using ERDAS Image processing software. The raster data has been converted to ARC/INFO format and exported to an interchange file.

The data was originally georeferenced to UTM zone 17 coordinates NAD 27 and is also available in this coordinate system in ERDAS Imagine format.

The class of woods on hydric soils, wet meadow and farmed wetland fall on hydric soils when digital soils data is available for the county.

Original coverage data was converted from the .e00 file to a more standard ESRI shapefile(s) in November 2014.Contact Information:GIS Support, ODNR GIS ServicesOhio Department of Natural ResourcesReal Estate & Land ManagementReal Estate and Lands Management2045 Morse Rd, Bldg I-2Columbus, OH, 43229Telephone: 614-265-6462Email: gis.support@dnr.ohio.gov
