The intent of the bill was to not include any attributes that the counties rely on for data sales. If you want other attributes associated with the parcels you need to contact the county recorder.Users should be aware the owner type field 'OWN_TYPE' in the parcel polygons is a very generalized ownership type (Federal, Private, State, Tribal). It is populated with the value of the 'OWNER' field where the parcel's centroid intersects the CADASTRE.LandOwnership polygon layer.This dataset is a snapshot in time and may not be the most current. For the most current data contact the county recorder.

    Description

    These are lands still within the District of Columbia that has never been subdivided into either Record or Tax Lots through the two offices that manage land records (OS & RPTA), this land is referred to as Parcels, expressed as fractions (Ex Parcel 117/36). In this example, the number “36” would be the 36th out conveyance from original Parcel 117. The tracking of parcels was started in 1905 when, by Act of Congress, all the District’s unsubdivided properties which were mostly rural farms at the time were given parcel numbers. Their boundaries were also depicted (in many cases approximated), in large books in DCRA's Office of the Surveyor. Until the late 1960s, building permits were routinely issued by the city for new construction on Parcels, but today all Parcels, like Tax Lots, must be converted into subdivision Lots of Record before permits will be issued for exterior work. Parcels are only found in the old “County of Washington,” north of Florida Ave and east of the Anacostia River. There are no Parcels found within the original city limits or Georgetown. Parcels are not in Squares. There are examples where parcel land may be physically located in the middle of a city Square, but Parcels are not considered part of a Square until they are duly subdivided by the D.C. Surveyor’s Office.

    Update information can be found within the layer’s attributes and in a table on the Utah Parcel Data webpage under LIR Parcels.In Spring of 2016, the Land Information Records work group, an informal committee organized by the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget’s State Planning Coordinator, produced recommendations for expanding the sharing of GIS-based parcel information. Participants in the LIR work group included representatives from county, regional, and state government, including the Utah Association of Counties (County Assessors and County Recorders), Wasatch Front Regional Council, Mountainland and Bear River AOGs, Utah League of Cities and Towns, UDOT, DNR, AGRC, the Division of Emergency Management, Blue Stakes, economic developers, and academic researchers. The LIR work group’s recommendations set the stage for voluntary sharing of additional objective/quantitative parcel GIS data, primarily around tax assessment-related information. Specifically the recommendations document establishes objectives, principles (including the role of local and state government), data content items, expected users, and a general process for data aggregation and publishing. An important realization made by the group was that ‘parcel data’ or ‘parcel record’ products have a different meaning to different users and data stewards. The LIR group focused, specifically, on defining a data sharing recommendation around a tax year parcel GIS data product, aligned with the finalization of the property tax roll by County Assessors on May 22nd of each year. The LIR recommendations do not impact the periodic sharing of basic parcel GIS data (boundary, ID, address) from the County Recorders to AGRC per 63F-1-506 (3.b.vi). Both the tax year parcel and the basic parcel GIS layers are designed for general purpose uses, and are not substitutes for researching and obtaining the most current, legal land records information on file in County records. This document, below, proposes a schedule, guidelines, and process for assembling county parcel and assessment data into an annual, statewide tax parcel GIS layer. gis.utah.gov/data/sgid-cadastre/ It is hoped that this new expanded parcel GIS layer will be put to immediate use supporting the best possible outcomes in public safety, economic development, transportation, planning, and the provision of public services. Another aim of the work group was to improve the usability of the data, through development of content guidelines and consistent metadata documentation, and the efficiency with which the data sharing is distributed.GIS Layer Boundary Geometry:GIS Format Data Files: Ideally, Tax Year Parcel data should be provided in a shapefile (please include the .shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj, and .xml component files) or file geodatabase format. An empty shapefile and file geodatabase schema are available for download at:At the request of a county, AGRC will provide technical assistance to counties to extract, transform, and load parcel and assessment information into the GIS layer format.Geographic Coverage: Tax year parcel polygons should cover the area of each county for which assessment information is created and digital parcels are available. Full coverage may not be available yet for each county. The county may provide parcels that have been adjusted to remove gaps and overlaps for administrative tax purposes or parcels that retain these expected discrepancies that take their source from the legally described boundary or the process of digital conversion. The diversity of topological approaches will be noted in the metadata.One Tax Parcel Record Per Unique Tax Notice: Some counties produce an annual tax year parcel GIS layer with one parcel polygon per tax notice. In some cases, adjacent parcel polygons that compose a single taxed property must be merged into a single polygon. This is the goal for the statewide layer but may not be possible in all counties. AGRC will provide technical support to counties, where needed, to merge GIS parcel boundaries into the best format to match with the annual assessment information.Standard Coordinate System: Parcels will be loaded into Utah’s statewide coordinate system, Universal Transverse Mercator coordinates (NAD83, Zone 12 North).     The Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2024. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries.The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August.     NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) is building high-resolution digital elevation models (DEMs) for select U.S. coastal regions in the Gulf of Mexico. These integrated bathymetric-topographic DEMs were developed for NOAA Coast Survey Development Laboratory (CSDL) through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 to evaluate the utility of the Vertical Datum Transformation tool (VDatum), developed jointly by NOAA's Office of Coast Survey (OCS), National Geodetic Survey (NGS), and Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS). Bathymetric, topographic, and shoreline data used in DEM compilation are obtained from various sources, including NGDC, the U.S. Coastal Services Center (CSC), the U.S. Office of Coast Survey (OCS), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and other federal, state, and local government agencies, academic institutions, and private companies. DEMs are referenced to the vertical tidal datum of North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88) or Mean High Water (MHW) and horizontal datum of North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83). Grid spacings for both DEMs are 1/3 arc-second (~10 meters).The DEM Global Mosaic is an image service providing access to bathymetric/topographic digital elevation models stewarded at NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), along with the global GEBCO_2014 grid: http://www.gebco.net/data_and_products/gridded_bathymetry_data. NCEI builds and distributes high-resolution, coastal digital elevation models (DEMs) that integrate ocean bathymetry and land topography to support NOAA's mission to understand and predict changes in Earth's environment, and conserve and manage coastal and marine resources to meet our Nation's economic, social, and environmental needs. They can be used for modeling of coastal processes (tsunami inundation, storm surge, sea-level rise, contaminant dispersal, etc.), ecosystems management and habitat research, coastal and marine spatial planning, and hazard mitigation and community preparedness. This service is a general-purpose global, seamless bathymetry/topography mosaic. It combines DEMs from a variety of near sea-level vertical datums, such as mean high water (MHW), mean sea level (MSL), and North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). Elevation values have been rounded to the nearest meter, with DEM cell sizes going down to 1 arc-second. NCEI builds and distributes high-resolution, coastal digital elevation models (DEMs) that integrate ocean bathymetry and land topography to support NOAA's mission to understand and predict changes in Earth's environment, and conserve and manage coastal and marine resources to meet our Nation's economic, social, and environmental needs. They can be used for modeling of coastal processes (tsunami inundation, storm surge, sea-level rise, contaminant dispersal, etc.), ecosystems management and habitat research, coastal and marine spatial planning, and hazard mitigation and community preparedness. This service provides data from many individual DEMs combined together as a mosaic. By default, the rasters are drawn in order of cell size, with higher-resolution grids displayed on top of lower-resolution grids. If overlapping DEMs have the same resolution, the newer one is shown. Alternatively, a single DEM or group of DEMs can be isolated using a filter/definition query or using the 'Lock Raster 'mosaic method in ArcMap.     This is an annual version of the MetroGIS Regional Parcel Dataset that can be used with other annual versions to do change analysis and time series investigations. This dataset is intended to contain all updates to each county's parcel data through the end of 2004. It was originally published as the 'January 1, 2005' version of the dataset. See the Currentness Reference below and the Entity and Attribute information in Section 5 for more information about the dates for specific aspects of the dataset.

    The polygon layer contains one record for each real estate/tax parcel polygon within each county's parcel dataset. Some counties will polygons for each individual condominium, and others do not. (See Completeness in Section 2 of the metadata for more information.) The points layer includes the same attribute fields as the polygon dataset.     Description

    Download .zipThe C, D Law Coal Permit Maps county coverage sets were developed using the original mine maps for over 2500 coal mining and reclamation permits issued under Ohio law and finalized (i.e. operations completed) between 1975 and December 2002.

    Ohio started issuing coal mining licenses in the 1940s. The earliest license and permit requirements were minimal and did not include submittal of a map or other delineation of the mined area. Significant changes to legal requirements are reflected by the alphabetical designation of each subsequent law revision, i.e., earlier A-law permits (circa 1966) through contemporary D-law permits. The ODNR-Division of Mineral Resources Management (DMRM) has attempted to create as complete a database as possible from available archive records, however, research has identified missing permit files. Thus, this GIS data is known to be incomplete due to the loss of archival records.

    The C and D law permit maps were scanned at a density of 200 dots per inch (dpi). The scanned image was then heads-up digitized using Microstation computer aided design software (CAD) to create design files grouped by county location. Data captured within the design file includes permit boundary, affected boundary, test hole locations, and associated attributes. The design file was then "placed-to-ground" using ODNR Division of Geological Survey's "ODNR Land Sub-division Background Design Files" NAD83 State Plane coverages and DOQQ aerial images obtained through the Ohio Geographically Referenced Information Program (OGRIP)/Ohio Department of Administrative Services. The design file was then converted to ARC/INFO coverage and projected to State Plane Ohio Coordinates, NAD83:

    Geographic coordinate system name: GCS_North_American_1983

    A complete county coverage set consists of five data files for the permit area, affected area, and test hole locations. For example, the coverage for Athens County includes:

    The Washington State Parcels Project provides a statewide data set of tax parcels attributes that cover those counties that currently have digital tax parcels. Attribute data has been normalized so that the field names are the same across all counties.     This data release contains the GIS data supporting U.S. Geological Survey Open-File Report (OFR) 2005-1252, "The Geologic Map of Seattle—A Progress Report," published in 2005 by Kathy Goetz Troost, Derek B. Booth, Aaron P. Wisher, and Scott A. Shimel (https://doi.org/10.3133/ofr20051252). The OFR was prepared for the 2005 Washington Hydrogeology Symposium and describes the status of geologic mapping for Seattle, Washington, at the time. The map is the result of field mapping and compilation of subsurface geologic data during the years 1999–2004 and was funded by the City of Seattle and the U.S. Geological Survey. Data from more than 36,000 exploration points, geotechnical borings, monitoring wells, excavations, and outcrops were used in making the map. The northern part of the 2005 OFR and the supporting GIS data were subsequently published as two geologic maps: Booth, D.B., Troost, K.G., and Shimel, S.A., 2005, Geologic map of northwestern Seattle (part of the Seattle North 7.5’ X 15’ Quadrangle), King County, Washington: U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Map 2903, https://doi.org/10.3133/sim2903. The following map features were not available and are not included in this data release: bedding point data, faults, anticlines, and contact lines.     The Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2024. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with the real property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL) file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries, prior to the creation of the centroids.. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.The centroids were derived from the parcel polygons.     The Maine Geoparcel Viewer Application allows users to search and view available digital parcel data for Organized Townships and Unorganized Territories in the State of Maine. The Maine GeoLibrary and the Maine Office of GIS do not maintain parcel data for communities, cannot verify parcel ownership, and are not responsible for individual parcel data verification or updating emergency records concerning parcel addresses. If you have questions about a specific parcel, please contact the appropriate Town Office or County Registry of Deeds for the most up-to-date information.Within Maine, real property data is maintained by the government organization responsible for assessing and collecting property tax for a given location. Organized towns and townships maintain authoritative data for their communities and may voluntarily submit these data to the Maine GeoLibrary Parcel Project. The "Maine Parcels Organized Towns Feature" layer and "Maine Parcels Organized Towns ADB" table are the product of these voluntary submissions. Communities provide updates to the Maine GeoLibrary on a non-regular basis, which affects the currency of Maine GeoLibrary parcels data; some data are more than ten years old. Please contact the appropriate Town Office or the County Registry of Deeds for more up-to-date parcel information. Organized Town data should very closely match registry information, except in the case of in-process property conveyance transactions.In Unorganized Territories (defined as those regions of the state without a local government that assesses real property and collects property tax), Maine Revenue Services is the authoritative source for parcel data. The "Maine Parcels Unorganized Territory" layer is the authoritative GIS data layer for the Unorganized Territories. However, it must always be used with auxiliary data obtained from the online resources of Maine Revenue Services to compile up-to-date parcel ownership information.

Its county seat is Washington Court House. Fayette County was formed on March 1, 1810 from portions of Highland County and Ross County. It was named after Marie-Joseph Motier, Marquis de La Fayette, a French general and politician who took the side of the Colonials during the American Revolutionary War and who played an important role in the French Revolution.Fayette County is a part of the Virginia Military survey, which was reserved in 1783, to be allotted to Virginia soldiers. This district includes the entire counties of Adams, Brown, Clermont, Clinton, Highland, Fayette, Madison and Union; and a portion of the counties of Scioto, Pike, Ross, Pickaway, Franklin, Delaware, Marion, Hardin, Logan, Champaign, Clarke, Greene, Warren and Hamilton.Fayette County was formed January 19, 1810 (took effect March 1st) from Ross and Highland counties. Beginning at the southwest corner of Pickaway, running north “with the line of said county to the corner of Madison; thence west with the line of said Madison county to the line of Greene county; thence south with the line of Greene county to the southeast corner thereof; thence east five miles; thence south to the line of Highland county; thence east with said line to Paint Creek; thence in a straight line to the beginning.” All the lower portion was taken from Highland and the upper from Ross.The first portion of land entered within the territory of what is now Fayette county, was a part of original surveys Nos. 243 and 772, lying partly in Clinton county. The first survey lying wholly within Fayette county was No. 463, in what is now Madison township, surveyed for Thomas Overton by John O’Bannon June 30, 1776.The original townships were Jefferson, Greene, Wayne, Madison, Paint and Union. Concord township was formed in April 1818, from Greene. Marion township was formed in June, 1840 from Madison. Perry township was formed June 4, 1845, from Wayne and Greene. Jasper township was formed from Jefferson and Concord December 2, 1845.Washington C.H. was laid out originally on a part of entry 757, which contained 1200 acres and belonged to Benjamin Temple, of Logan county, Kentucky, who donated 150 acres to Fayette county, on condition that it be used as the site of the county seat. The deed of conveyance was made December 1, 1810, by Thomas S. Hind, attorney for Temple, to Robert Stewart, who was appointed by the legislature as director for the town of Washington. The town was laid off some time between December 1, 1810, and February 26, 1811, the latter being the date of the record of the town plat.Bloomingburg (originally called New Lexington) was laid out in 1815, by Solomon Bowers, and originally contained 34 and ¾ acres. On March 4, 1816, Bowers laid out and added twenty more lots. The name of the town was later changed to Bloomingburg by act of the legislature. The town was incorporated by act of the legislature, February 5, 1847.Jeffersonville was laid out March 1, 1831, by Walter B. Write and Chipman Robinson, on 100 acres of land belonging to them, they started selling the lots at $5 each. The town incorporated March 17, 1838. The first house was erected by Robert Wyley.The first railroad, now the C. & M. V., was completed in 1852; the second, now the Detroit Southern, in 1875; the third, now the C.H. & D. in 1879; and the fourth, now the B. & O. S. The intent of the bill was to not include any attributes that the counties rely on for data sales. If you want other attributes associated with the parcels you need to contact the county recorder.Users should be aware the owner type field 'OWN_TYPE' in the parcel polygons is a very generalized ownership type (Federal, Private, State, Tribal). It is populated with the value of the 'OWNER' field where the parcel's centroid intersects the CADASTRE.LandOwnership polygon layer.This dataset is a snapshot in time and may not be the most current. For the most current data contact the county recorder.
