Rob-N-Cin Farms is a 455-acre dairy factory farm that is currently noncompliant with zoning regulations with the Town of Trenton and illegally operating over the legal amount of animal units permitted. It is seeking a WPDES Permit as a Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO) to gain compliance and the Town of Trenton is creating zoning laws to allow it to operate. The residents of Trenton have voiced concern over the operation of the farm spreading concentrated manure slurry in areas outside of its owned land. To better present the concerns of the residents, the Friends of Trenton need visuals to present to the town to present the impact it has to its residents in hopes the town will enact better laws and zoning to prevent the CAFO’s growth. Map is being used to accomplished this through analysis of the CAFO’s manure spread areas showing the number of houses impacted by its operation and an environmental analysis of its runoff into environmental areas.This map includes the full range of properties within Washington County and Ozaukee County.

These GIS files represent geographic boundaries for lands that are under the protection of NYS Agricultural District Law, administered by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. The boundaries are derived from New York State Agricultural District, 1:24,000-scale, maps produced at county agencies. The district boundaries correspond to tax parcel data. District boundaries are joined into a file representing all of the Agricultural Districts within an entire county. Note that 2003 legislation allows lands to be added to districts on an annual basis. Electronic data provided here may predate those additions. Tax parcel detail and secondary rights-of-way are not included in this dataset. Rights-of-way for state and federal highways, railroads and utilities are only included when they are delineated on the original 1:24,000 scale maps. The data files are in ArcGIS shapefile format.

The county adopted growth management strategies in the 1983 amendments to the Comprehensive Plan. This update involved the designation of an Urban Growth Area (UGA) and Town Growth Areas (TGA). The greater Hagerstown area (Hagerstown, Williamsport, and Funkstown) is the focus of the Urban Growth Area while the towns of Boonsboro, Clear Spring, Hancock, and Smithsburg are the focus of the Town Growth Areas. These areas were originally created as generalized shapes which were more refined in 2003 to follow tax map boundaries, roads, and natural features creating a more definitive boundary. The Urban Growth Aread was further refined and its boundary updated in 2012. These areas have specific zoning, not always found in the rural areas, which encourage development within them. The areas also provide for more infrastructure, over time, in their dense area.

The Bureau of Reclamation's Scoggins Dam lies within the Gales Creek fault zone southwest of Hillsboro, Oregon. Recent geologic mapping shows the dam to overlie a potentially active strand of the fault. This report describes the geology of the dam in detail and confirms that the dam overlies a strand of the Gales Creek fault. The report documents small faults in the reservoir and off the north end of the dam along the Parsons Creek strand of the fault. The report further documents the geology of an alternative dam site downstream of the existing dam.
These are lands still within the District of Columbia that has never been subdivided into either Record or Tax Lots through the two offices that manage land records (OS & RPTA), this land is referred to as Parcels, expressed as fractions (Ex Parcel 117/36). In this example, the number “36” would be the 36th out conveyance from original Parcel 117. The tracking of parcels was started in 1905 when, by Act of Congress, all the District’s unsubdivided properties which were mostly rural farms at the time were given parcel numbers. Their boundaries were also depicted (in many cases approximated), in large books in DCRA's Office of the Surveyor. Until the late 1960s, building permits were routinely issued by the city for new construction on Parcels, but today all Parcels, like Tax Lots, must be converted into subdivision Lots of Record before permits will be issued for exterior work. Parcels are only found in the old “County of Washington,” north of Florida Ave and east of the Anacostia River. There are no Parcels found within the original city limits or Georgetown. Parcels are not in Squares. There are examples where parcel land may be physically located in the middle of a city Square, but Parcels are not considered part of a Square until they are duly subdivided by the D.C. Surveyor’s Office.

Scoggins Dam in northwest Oregon lies within the Gales Creek fault zone (GCF), a northwest-striking system of active faults forming the boundary between the Coast Range and the Tualatin Valley about 25 km east of Portland, Oregon. Geologic mapping published in 2020 shows the dam to lie within a block-faulted releasing stepover between the right-lateral, NW-striking Scoggins Creek and Parsons Creek strands of the GCF. The Scoggins Creek strand is presently mapped beneath the existing dam about 200 m north of the south abutment. Preliminary results from paleoseismic trenching by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Portland State University, and the U.S. Geological Survey indicate that these two major fault strands have had multiple surface rupturing earthquakes in the Holocene. To confirm the accuracy of the 2020 geologic map and the geometry of the GCF in the releasing stepover region, we completed additional geologic mapping of the dam, reservoir, and an alternative dam site downstream between July 2018 and May 2020. Using high-resolution lidar topographic data and satellite imagery on handheld digital tablets, we collected data at ~500 field sites in the heavily forested terrain. We used these detailed field observations to locate and digitally map the main Scoggins Creek and Parsons Creek fault strands, as well as the cross faults linking the two main strands, to produce an improved and more detailed geologic map and cross sections of Scoggins Valley and its existing and proposed dam sites.

This dataset is a collection of GeoTIFF and MrSID format natural color orthophotos covering Washington, Holmes, and Bay County, Florida. An orthophoto is remotely sensed image data in which displacement of features in the image caused by terrain relief and sensor orientation have been mathematically removed. Orthophotography combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. Imagery was acquired for Washington and Holmes Counties at 0.9 foot ground sample distance (GSD) resolution. Flight height maintained during mission was 8,650 feet AGL. The imagery was captured at 12-bit radiometric resolution and converted to 8-bit radiometric resolution during post processing. The imagery was captured with 20% sidelap between all adjacent flight lines. The imagery was obtained and processed by all digital means beginning with data acquisition using a Leica ADS40 Digital Airborne Sensor. Bay County was flown using the Z/I Imaging Digital Mapping Camera (DMC). The orthophotos are available in GeoTIFF and MrSID form. The projected coordinate system is State Plane Florida North (FIPS Zone 903), NAD 83 HPGN, GRS 80, Units Feet.

The National Flood Hazard Layer (NFHL) data incorporates all Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) databases published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and any Letters of Map Revision (LOMRs) that have been issued against those databases since their publication date. It is updated on a monthly basis. The FIRM Database is the digital, geospatial version of the flood hazard information shown on the published paper FIRMs. The FIRM Database depicts flood risk information and supporting data used to develop the risk data. The primary risk classifications used are the 1-percent-annual-chance flood event, the 0.2-percent-annual-chance flood event, and areas of minimal flood risk.
