    Description

    Red Light Cameras (RLC) are installed to photograph vehicles that run red lights.The cameras are on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They are connected to the traffic light (signal) and to sensors that are installed just before the stop line. The system constantly monitors the traffic light (signal), and the camera takes a picture of any vehicle that doesn't stop at the red light.This dataset contains the location of red light cameras on Regional Roads within Peel Region.For more information on the Region of Peel's red light camera program, please visit the Red Light Camera Program web page.A Red Light Camera web map is available.
