TTF Gas fell to 33.80 EUR/MWh on August 1, 2025, down 3.98% from the previous day. Over the past month, TTF Gas's price has risen 1.48%, but it is still 7.79% lower than a year ago, according to trading on a contract for difference (CFD) that tracks the benchmark market for this commodity. The gasoline price in the Philippines continued to fluctuate in 2023 and the first quarter of 2025, reaching 56.34 Philippine pesos per liter in April 2025. The retail price of petrol peaked between May and June 2022.   Which countries supply petroleum products to the Philippines? The refined petroleum products supply in the Philippines is mainly imported from South Korea, which accounts for 31 percent of the total import share. Singapore and China also provide a large share of the country’s petroleum product supply. Due to a dormant oil refining capacity, the production of petroleum refinery products in the Philippines has shown sluggish growth recently, further emphasizing the need for importing such products. Leading petroleum companies in the Philippines Shell Pilipinas Corporation held the highest share of the petroleum market in the Philippines, with a market share of about 16 percent in 2023. The company operated its petroleum refinery until 2020, when it decided to focus on imports. There is only one operating oil refinery in the country, which is run by the second-largest oil company – Petron Corporation.

This table contains consumer prices for electricity and gas. Weighted average monthly prices are published broken down into transport rate, delivery rates and taxes, both including and excluding VAT. These prices are published on a monthly basis. The prices presented in this table were used to compile the CPI up to May 2023. Prices for newly offered contracts were collected. Contract types that are no longer offered, but have been in previous reporting periods, are imputed. The average can therefore diverge from the prices paid for energy contracts by Dutch households.

The 2025 annual OPEC basket price stood at ***** U.S. dollars per barrel as of June. This would be lower than the 2024 average, which amounted to ***** U.S. dollars. The abbreviation OPEC stands for Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and includes Algeria, Angola, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and the United Arab Emirates. The aim of the OPEC is to coordinate the oil policies of its member states. It was founded in 1960 in Baghdad, Iraq. The OPEC Reference Basket The OPEC crude oil price is defined by the price of the so-called OPEC (Reference) basket. This basket is an average of prices of the various petroleum blends that are produced by the OPEC members. Some of these oil blends are, for example: Saharan Blend from Algeria, Basra Light from Iraq, Arab Light from Saudi Arabia, BCF 17 from Venezuela, et cetera. By increasing and decreasing its oil production, OPEC tries to keep the price between a given maxima and minima. Benchmark crude oil The OPEC basket is one of the most important benchmarks for crude oil prices worldwide. Other significant benchmarks are UK Brent, West Texas Intermediate (WTI), and Dubai Crude (Fateh). Because there are many types and grades of oil, such benchmarks are indispensable for referencing them on the global oil market. The 2025 fall in prices was the result of weakened demand outlooks exacerbated by extensive U.S. trade tariffs.

UK Gas fell to 83.25 GBp/thm on August 1, 2025, down 4.14% from the previous day. Over the past month, UK Gas's price has risen 4.94%, but it is still 7.33% lower than a year ago, according to trading on a contract for difference (CFD) that tracks the benchmark market for this commodity. The City of Chicago has published trip-level data for every TNC trip since November 1, 2018. To the best of our knowledge, this dataset is the only one that includes trip fare variables. As we wrote this paper in Oct 2022, the dataset includes approximately 263 million trip records (rows) and 21 features (columns) for trips dated from November 1, 2018, through October 1, 2022. The features of this data include Trip ID, Trip Start Timestamp (rounded to the nearest 15 minutes), Trip End Timestamp (rounded to the nearest 15 minutes), Trip Seconds, Trip Miles, Pickup Census Tract, Dropoff Census Tract, Pickup Community Area, Drop Off Community Area, Trip Fare, Tip, Additional Charges, Total Trip Fare, Shared Trip Authorized, Trips Pooled, Pickup Centroid Latitude, Pickup Centroid Longitude, Pickup Centroid Location, Dropoff Centroid Latitude, Dropoff Centroid Longitude, Dropoff Centroid Location. As the dataset is too large to be processed without a supercomputer, we generated a random sample of 2 million trips from Nov 2018 to June 2022 with valid pickup and drop-down area information. To explore the data, we processed the features to extract date information from the timestamp. We created new variables, including each trip's average fare per mile (excluding tips and additional charges, mainly taxes). In dataset (1), the sampled TNC trips data was processed and summarized to include the average daily fare per mile (USD/mile), and exogenous variables that impact the price were added to the data including holidays (Christmas, thanksgiving, Independence Day, easter and new year) and other variables including gas prices, and climate (snow, precipitation, and average daily temperature). The City of Chicago also publishes taxi trips from 2013 to the present. To protect privacy but allow for aggregate analyses, the Taxi ID is consistent for any given taxi medallion number but does not show the number, and times are rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Due to the data reporting process, not all but most trips are reported. Taxicabs in Chicago, Illinois, are operated by private companies and licensed by the city. About seven thousand licensed cabs are operating within the city limits. As the dataset is too large to be processed without a supercomputer, we generated a random sample of 2 million trips from Nov 2018 to June 2022 with valid pickup and drop-down area information. To explore the data, we processed the features to extract date information from the timestamp. We created new variables, including each trip's average fare per mile (excluding tips and additional charges, mainly taxes). Norway Avg Retail Price: incl Taxes: Diesel data is updated monthly, averaging 8.830 NOK/l from Aug 1986 (Median) to Jun 2020, with 407 observations. The data reached an all-time high of 15.750 NOK/l in Nov 2018 and a record low of 1.860 NOK/l in Dec 1986. Norway Avg Retail Price: incl Taxes: Diesel data remains active status in CEIC and is reported by Statistics Norway. This dataset provides monthly, quarterly and annual average crude oil cost, Ontario gasoline tax, federal excise tax, HST, wholesale margin and retail margin based on Toronto pump price of regular unleaded gasoline.
