I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the NHS Business Services Authority. We do hold information about prescribers and GP practices that constitute prescribing cost centres. This information is available publicly in the Information Services Portal ISP which can be accessed as a guest user. https://applications.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/infosystems/welcome In particular the Prescriber Details Reports is available from +Report > Common Information Reports > Organisation Data > Prescriber Details. You may also find NHS Digital’s (now part of NHS England) Organisation Data Service (ODS) information about GP Practices of interest; however, we are unsure if this includes the requested data. NHS Digital routinely publish organisation information on their website that can be accessed in several ways https://digital.nhs.uk/services/organisation-data-service The NHS Digital ODS also provides various organisation hierarchy relationships including which practices belong to which Primary Care Network (PCN). PCN are a local grouping of primary care organisations that may be of some relevance, but we are unsure if this would correspond to “clusters” specifically. NHS England can be contacted at: NHS England PO Box 16738 Redditch B97 9PT Telephone: 0300 311 22 33 Email: england.contactus@nhs.net Web: http://www.england.nhs.uk/contact-us/foi/
Revision
Finalised data on government support for buses was not available when these statistics were originally published (27 November 2024). The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) have since published that data so the following have been revised to include it:
Revision
The following figures relating to local bus passenger journeys per head have been revised:
Table BUS01f provides figures on passenger journeys per head of population at Local Transport Authority (LTA) level. Population data for 21 counties were duplicated in error, resulting in the halving of figures in this table. This issue does not affect any other figures in the published tables, including the regional and national breakdowns.
The affected LTAs were: Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire, Devon, East Sussex, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, Lancashire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Staffordshire, Suffolk, Surrey, Warwickshire, West Sussex, and Worcestershire.
A minor typo in the units was also corrected in the BUS02_mi spreadsheet.
A full list of tables can be found in the table index.

Accessible Tables and Improved Quality
As part of the Analysis Function Reproducible Analytical Pipeline Strategy, processes to create all National Travel Survey (NTS) statistics tables have been improved to follow the principles of Reproducible Analytical Pipelines (RAP). This has resulted in improved efficiency and quality of NTS tables and therefore some historical estimates have seen very minor change, at least the fifth decimal place.
All NTS tables have also been redesigned in an accessible format where they can be used by as many people as possible, including people with an impaired vision, motor difficulties, cognitive impairments or learning disabilities and deafness or impaired hearing.

You asked us: In 2023, the number of prescriptions of the five most common SSRIs (Fluocetine, citalopram, escitalopram, paroxetine, sertraline) prescribed in England to the following age groups: 18-27, 28-43, 44-59, 59+. The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) received your request on 24 April 2024. On 8 May 2024, you clarified your request as follows: I am looking for the specific number of prescription forms issued containing these substances. I would like the final age band to be 60+. Response I can confirm that the NHSBSA holds the information you have requested and a copy of the information and notes explaining it is attached. Please read the below notes to ensure correct understanding of the data. NHS Prescription Services process prescriptions for Pharmacy Contractors, Appliance Contractors, Dispensing Doctors and Personal Administration with information then used to make payments to pharmacists and appliance contractors in England for prescriptions dispensed in primary care settings (other arrangements are in place for making payments to Dispensing Doctors and Personal Administration). This involves processing over one billion prescription items and payments totalling over £9 billion each year. The information gathered from this process is then used to provide information on costs and trends in prescribing in England and Wales to over 25,000 registered NHS and Department of Health and Social Care users. Data Source: ePACT2 Data in ePACT2 is sourced from the NHSBSA Data Warehouse and is derived from products prescribed on prescriptions and dispensed in the Community. The data captured from prescription processing is used to calculate reimbursement and remuneration. It includes items prescribed in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Guernsey / Alderney, Jersey and Isle of Man which have been dispensed in the community in England. English prescribing that has been dispensed in Wales, Scotland, Guernsey / Alderney, Jersey and Isle of Man is also included. The Data excludes: • Items not dispensed, disallowed and those returned to the contractor for further clarification. • Prescriptions prescribed and dispensed in prisons, hospitals and private prescriptions. • Items prescribed but not presented for dispensing or not submitted to NHS Prescription Services by the dispenser. Time Period: January - December 2023 (calendar year) Data: The data is limited to prescriptions prescribed in England and dispensed in anywhere in the UK, for British National Formulary (BNF) Chemical Substances requested - Citalopram hydrobromide (0403030D0), Citalopram hydrochloride (0403030D0), Fluoxetine hydrochloride (0403030E0), Paroxetine hydrochloride (0403030P0), Sertraline hydrochloride (0403030Q0) and Escitalopram (0403030X0) Age Band: Patient ages are based on the age as captured from the prescription image and relates to the patient's age at the time of prescribing. Results have been restricted to only show results presented by age band (18-27, 28-43, 44-59 and 60 plus). Please note, it is possible that a single patient may be included in the results for more than one age band where a patient has received prescribing at different ages during the calendar year. Number of Prescription Forms The number of prescriptions in which the chemical substance has been prescribed. Please note, if a patient has been prescribed more than one of the chemical substances included within this data, the prescription will be included within the data for both (or all) of those substances.
(2) how much money has been paid to them from the public purse; (3) how much each assessment costs the public purse; and (4) provide me with a copy of the contract with the company or organisation under which my assessment was conducted (Your ref. VAD20642, and letter to me dated 12 July 2023). Response Question 1 All Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme (VDPS) claims are medically assessed by an independent medical assessor. We have a contract with Crawford & Company Adjusters (UK) Ltd. for the provision of medical assessments under the scheme. RTW Plus Ltd. and Pertemps Medical Ltd. are subcontracted within this agreement to complete medical assessments under the scheme. Question 2 Under Section 21 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you. The amount paid to Crawford & Company Adjusters Ltd broken down by month for the provision of medical assessments is available at: www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/spend-over-ps25000 Once you’ve opened each spreadsheet, you can search (CTRL+F) the spreadsheet for “Crawford” and this will help you find payments made to our supplier. Question 3 We have interpreted this question as requesting the fixed cost per assessment. I am writing to advise you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have established that the information you requested is not held by the NHS Business Services Authority. There is no fixed cost per assessment. Question 4 A copy of the information you have requested has been published on our website at https://opendata.nhsbsa.net/dataset/foi-01680 Due to the large size of the files we cannot email these to you. Redactions Please note that some of the text is redacted (blacked out). The following sets out the exemptions which apply, and the public interest considerations in favour of disclosure vs those in favour of withholding the information. Section 31(1) – Crime Prevention The information you requested is being withheld as it falls under the exemption in section 31(1) of the Freedom of Information Act. In applying this exemption, we have balanced the public interest in withholding the information against the public interest in disclosing the information. The below link sets out the exemption in full. The information redacted under this exemption has been labelled within the document. All other redactions have been made under the other exemptions outlined below. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/36/section/31 See the below the factors considered when deciding that in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information. Factors for Disclosure • There is no public interest in this information being placed in the public domain. Factors for Withholding • The e-mail address is for internal use, by colleagues and customers. • The e-mail address could be targeted by cyber criminals for distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks or phishing. • A successful cyber-attack could disrupt the NHSBSA’s core services, affecting our ability to function efficiently. • The cost of recovering from a successful cyber-attack could be substantial, which would be at the taxpayers’ expense. Section 40(2) – Personal Data Please be aware that I have decided not to release full details of all staff as this information falls under the exemption in Section 40 subsections 2 and 3(A)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act. This is because it would breach the first data protection principle as: a) It is not fair to disclose these people’s personal details to the world and is likely to cause damage or distress to staff b) These details are not of sufficient interest to the public to warrant an intrusion into the privacy of those staff. Please click the below web link to see the exemption in full. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/36/section/40 Section 43(2) – Commercial Interests The information you requested is being withheld as it falls under the exemption in section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act. In applying this exemption, we have balanced the public interest in withholding the information against the public interest in disclosing the information. The below link sets out the exemption in full. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2000/36/section/43 See the below the factors considered when deciding that in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information. Factors for Disclosure • Public accountability • Transparency of financial information in an NHS organisation Factors for Withholding • Potential commercial damage to an organisation that acts in the best interests of public health and any possible future contractors • Compromising of a scheme that has been implemented to assist members of the public who have suffered damage to their health following a vaccine – any such compromise could have a negative effect on the processing of the payments to which the claimants, leading to – • Large scale loss of public confidence in a scheme which exists for their benefit • Increased health problems and/or distress for VDPS claimants • Overtly negative attention from the media/ campaign groups. Whilst public scrutiny should be expected – if it becomes so excessive as to actually damage the VDPS scheme itself, then this cannot be considered as being within the public interest. In considering how the release of this information may prejudice the commercial interests of both parties we have taken into account any harm that would/would likely to be caused, namely – • Information that is specific to the tendering process, even when the contract is established, could (if published) cause damage to the third-party contractor because it would give any potential future contractors an unfair advantage should the contract ever go out to tender at a later date, leading to possible issues for the contractor in dealings with other organisations • The release of tendering information could damage NHSBSA because it would discourage any potential contractors from submitting a bid if they felt that their data was likely to be published, leading to possible difficulties in creating future contracts. In this case we feel it is in the best interests of the public that data relating to the tendering process is not disclosed. For the reasons outlined above we feel it is appropriate in this case to maintain the exemption and withhold the information. Because NHSBSA is applying an exemption to the above parts of the information, please accept this letter as a refusal notice issued in accordance with section 17 of this Act.
The monthly landings statistics will be released at 9.30am on the 4th Friday of each month, or the next working day if this is a bank holiday.

BBC One had the greatest weekly reach among the BBC's television services in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024. All channels in the ranking experienced a decline in audience reach over the past years. The BBC celebrates its 100th birthday and enters a period of uncertainty The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is the public broadcasting service of the United Kingdom and the oldest broadcasting organization worldwide. It was established in London on October 18, 1922, but after an entire century on air, the BBC now enters an uncertain future in terms of funding. Around 70 percent of the BBC's annual income is generated via license fees, but as the government announced the termination of this tax by 2027, the BBC will have to explore new avenues to stay afloat. So what will the future hold for the BBC and its programming now that consumers will no longer be required to pay the annual fee? Sources speculate that funding alternatives could include a subscription service, part-privatization, or direct government funding. The portfolio goes with the (digital) flow The BBC operates several television channels in the UK and worldwide, including the news-only channel BBC News and the politics-centered BBC Parliament. As of 2024, BBC One remained the company's flagship service, and data showed that the lion's share of the BBC's total television programming spending was allocated towards BBC One content that year. In addition to offering cross-genre television and radio broadcasts, the corporation keeps expanding its range of online services to resonate with audiences in the UK and abroad. The BBC runs a designated news platform alongside the on-demand video streaming platform BBC iPlayer.

Revision to NTS9919
On 16th April 2025, the figures in table NTS9919 have been revised and recalculated to include only day 1 of the travel diary where short walks of less than a mile are recorded (from 2017 onwards), whereas previous versions included all days. This is to more accurately capture the proportion of trips which include short walks before a surface rail stage. This revision has resulted in fewer available breakdowns than previously published due to the smaller sample sizes.
