TwitterWisconsin Act 20, the biennial state budget for 2013-2015, created statutory directives for state and local governments to coordinate on the development of a statewide digital parcel map. The Statewide Parcel Map Initiative is an effort to create a digital parcel map for Wisconsin by aggregating local parcel datasets utilizing geographic information systems (GIS) technology. The Parcel Initiative is a multi-faceted, multi-year collaborative effort of the Department of Administration, State Cartographer's Office, and local governments.

TwitterThis data group represents Parcels for Washington County, Wisconsin in 2017. This is the final deliverable for the Version 3 Statewide Parcel Map Database Project (V3). This feature class represents a comprehensive, spatially referenced collection of parcel geometries as recognized by local-level governments within the State of Wisconsin (the feature class is aggregated from county level and municipal-level data). See the V3 Project Homepage for more detail on the parameters for how data was prepared and submitted to this project: http://www.sco.wisc.edu/parcels/submission/ Schema documentation can be found within this feature class metadata and here: http://www.sco.wisc.edu/parcels/data/assets/V3/V3_Wisconsin_Statewide_Parcels_Schema_Documentation.pdf Change log and known issues can be found here: http://www.sco.wisc.edu/parcels/data/assets/Wisconsin_Statewide_Parcels_Change_Log.pdf.

TwitterThe E5 PLSS database, part of a multi-year effort, was created as a sub-project of the greater Version 9 Statewide Parcel Map Database Project (V9 Project), a collaboration between the Wisconsin Land Information Program, the State Cartographer’s Office, and county data contributors. More information about the Statewide Parcel Map Initiative can be found here. The E5 database contains a collection of all uniquely identifiable local-level PLSS data available in digital format, and aggregates that data into a standardized schema and format. It also includes section, quarter-section, and quarter-quarter-section level polygons. The construction of the PLSS corner locations contained within the database relies on the local level coordinate information. This unique aspect of the database, allows for an accurate representation of the on-the-ground location of the PLSS corners. Please complete the feedback survey form.Schema documentation can be found here.

TwitterThe original historic plat maps for Wisconsin were created between 1832 and 1866. In most cases, the UW Digital Collections Center does not record a specific creation date for the original maps. However, the collection also contains maps which correct previous editions. These more modern maps typically have a specific date or year defined. To view the survey notes associated with this plat map, please visit http://digicoll.library.wisc.edu/cgi-bin/SurveyNotes/SurveyNotes-idx?type=PLSS&town=T001N&range=R001W.

TwitterThis dataset contains DNR Managed Lands as parcels with local property name, and GIS and deed acreages. Parcels are symbolized as fee simple (DNR Owned), DNR easement on private land (open/restricted public access) and DNR lease on federal- and county-owned land. This dataset does not contain closed fee or easement. See metadata/data dictionary for interest (transaction type) classification. The parcels are digitized from deed legal description and based on the DNR Landnet System (Public Land Survey System), Wisconsin Transverse Mercator. This data is updated on a weekly basis. This layer represents the geometry of the real estate holdings of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and is not to be interpreted as representing legal property boundaries.
