    Description

Transport for NSW provides projections of workforce at the small area (Travel Zone or TZ) level for NSW. The latest version is Travel Zone Projections 2024 (TZP24), released in January 2025. TZP24 replaces the previously published TZP22. The projections are developed to support a strategic view of NSW and are aligned with the NSW Government Common Planning Assumptions. TZP24 Workforce Projections cover persons who reside in Occupied Private Dwellings, aged 15 years and over, and are presented by their usual place of residence. The following Workforce variables are presented in TZP24: Employed People, 15 years and over Unemployed People, 15 years and over People not in the workforce, 15 years and over The projections in this release, TZP24, are presented annually from 2021 to 2031 and 5-yearly from 2031 to 2066, and are in TZ21 geography. Please note, TZP24 is based on best available data as at early 2024 and the projections incorporate results of the National Census conducted by the ABS in August 2021. Key Data Inputs used: TZP24 Population and Dwellings projections Workforce participation rates - NSW Treasury Historical labour force data - ABS Labour Force Survey For a summary of the TZP24 Projections method please refer to the TZP24 Factsheet. For more detail on the projection process please refer to the TZP24 Technical Guide. Additional land use information for population and employment as well as Travel Zone 2021 boundaries for NSW (TZ21) and concordance files are also available for download on the Open Data Hub. A visualisation of the workforce projections is available on the Transport for NSW Website. Cautions The TZP24 dataset represents one view of the future aligned with the NSW Government Common Planning Assumptions population and employment projections. The projections are not based on specific assumptions about future new transport infrastructure, but do take into account known land-use developments underway or planned, and strategic plans. TZP24 is a strategic state-wide dataset and caution should be exercised when considering results at detailed breakdowns. The TZP24 outputs represent a point in time set of projections (as at early 2024). The projections are not government targets. Travel Zone (TZ) level outputs are projections only and should be used as a guide. As with all small area data, aggregating of travel zone projections to higher geographies leads to more robust results. As a general rule, TZ-level projections are illustrative of a possible future only. More specific advice about data reliability for the specific variables projected is provided in the “Read Me” page of the Excel format summary spreadsheets on the TfNSW Open Data Hub. Caution is advised when comparing TZP24 with the previous set of projections (TZP22) due to addition of new data sources for the most recent years, and adjustments to methodology. Further cautions and notes can be found in the TZP24 Technical Guide

    Description

This is an overview document covering the Healthcare Workforce as at March 2019 and refers to numbers of staff in three areas: i) Those directly employed by the NHS in Hospital and Community Health Services (HCHS) ii) GPs and their staff iii) A proportion of the staff working in Independent Healthcare Providers (see key facts below). More information on all of these areas are available within the accompanying documents and also via the 'Related Links' section below. This includes a link to the Independent Healthcare Provider Workforce report. We are now reviewing the content, format and purpose of this publication and welcome your feedback. In particular we are considering whether it would be useful to provide something more like a data hub to help guide users around the workforce publications including interactive visualisations rather than continuing with the current publication. Please email us with your comments and suggestions, clearly stating Healthcare Workforce Statistics as the subject heading, via enquiries@nhsdigital.nhs.uk

This dataset supports measure EOA.F.4 and EOA.G.3 of SD23. It demonstrates the total number of enrollees to those who successfully completed training. Depending on the length of training which can last anywhere from 12 weeks to 3 years there may or may not be a completion rate available at the time of reporting. These trainees are all participating in Community Based Organization workforce training programs in partnership with the Master Community Workforce Plan adopted by Imagine Austin. After participants successfully complete training, the Ray Marshall Center monitors completer-participant earnings. Earnings above Federal Poverty Limit are considered "above poverty". Description

The size of the US Data Center Industry market was valued at USD XX Million in 2023 and is projected to reach USD XXX Million by 2032, with an expected CAGR of 6.00% during the forecast period.A data center is a facility that keeps computer systems and networking equipment housed, processing, and transmitting data. It represents the infrastructure on which organizations carry out their IT operations and host websites, email servers, and database servers. Data centers, therefore, are imperative to any size business: small start-ups or large enterprise since they enable digital transformation, thus making business applications available. The US data center industry is one of the largest and most developed in the world. The country boasts robust digital infrastructure, abundant energy resources, and a highly skilled workforce, making it an attractive destination for data center operators. Some of the drivers of the US data center market are the growing trend of cloud computing, internet of things (IoT), and high-performance computing requirements.Top-of-the-line technology companies along with cloud service providers set up major data center footprints in the US, mostly in key regions such as Silicon Valley and Northern Virginia, Dallas, for example. These data centers support applications such as e-commerce-a manner of accessing streaming services-whose development depends on its artificial intelligence financial service type. As demand increases concerning data center capacity, therefore, the US data centre industry will continue to prosper as the world's hub for reliable and scalable solutions. Recent developments include: February 2023: The expansion of Souther Telecom to its data center in Atlanta, Georgia, at 345 Courtland Street, was announced by H5 Data Centers, a colocation and wholesale data center operator. One of the top communication service providers in the southeast is Southern Telecom. Customers in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi will receive better service due to the expansion of this low-latency fiber optic network.December 2022: DigitalBridge Group, Inc. and IFM Investors announced completing their previously announced transaction in which funds affiliated with the investment management platform of DigitalBridge and an affiliate of IFM Investors acquired all outstanding common shares of Switch, Inc. for USD approximately USD 11 billion, including the repayment of outstanding debt.October 2022: Three additional data centers in Charlotte, Nashville, and Louisville have been made available to Flexential's cloud customers, according to the supplier of data center colocation, cloud computing, and connectivity. By the end of the year, clients will have access to more than 220MW of hybrid IT capacity spread across 40 data centers in 19 markets, which is well aligned with Flexential's 2022 ambition to add 33MW of new, sustainable data center development projects.. Key drivers for this market are: , High Mobile penetration, Low Tariff, and Mature Regulatory Authority; Successful Privatization and Liberalization Initiatives. Potential restraints include: , Difficulties in Customization According to Business Needs. Notable trends are: OTHER KEY INDUSTRY TRENDS COVERED IN THE REPORT.

    Description

This measure determines the perceived value added by the University Centers (UCs) to their clients. EDA funds UCs to provide technical assistance and specialized services (for example, feasibility studies, marketing research, economic analysis, environmental services, and technology transfer) to local officials and communities. This assistance improves the community’s capacity to plan and manage successful development projects. UCs develop client profiles and report findings to EDA, which evaluates the performance of each center once every 3 years and verifies the data. “Taking action as a result of the assistance facilitated” means to implement an aspect of the technical assistance provided by the UC in one of several areas: economic development initiatives and training session development; linkages to crucial resources; economic development planning; project management; community investment package development; geographic information system services; strategic partnering to public or private sector entities; increased organizational capacity; feasibility plans; marketing studies; technology transfer; new company, product, or patent development; and other services.
