    Description

Globally, about 25 percent of the population is under 15 years of age and 10 percent is over 65 years of age. Africa has the youngest population worldwide. In Sub-Saharan Africa, more than 40 percent of the population is below 15 years, and only three percent are above 65, indicating the low life expectancy in several of the countries. In Europe, on the other hand, a higher share of the population is above 65 years than the population under 15 years. Fertility rates The high share of children and youth in Africa is connected to the high fertility rates on the continent. For instance, South Sudan and Niger have the highest population growth rates globally. However, about 50 percent of the world’s population live in countries with low fertility, where women have less than 2.1 children. Some countries in Europe, like Latvia and Lithuania, have experienced a population decline of one percent, and in the Cook Islands, it is even above two percent. In Europe, the majority of the population was previously working-aged adults with few dependents, but this trend is expected to reverse soon, and it is predicted that by 2050, the older population will outnumber the young in many developed countries. Growing global population As of 2025, there are 8.1 billion people living on the planet, and this is expected to reach more than nine billion before 2040. Moreover, the global population is expected to reach 10 billions around 2060, before slowing and then even falling slightly by 2100. As the population growth rates indicate, a significant share of the population increase will happen in Africa.

    Gender Neutral Clothing Market Outlook

The global gender neutral clothing market size was valued at approximately USD 2.1 billion in 2023 and is expected to reach around USD 5.6 billion by 2032, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.5% during the forecast period. The rising awareness and acceptance of gender fluidity are key factors driving this significant growth. Consumers increasingly demand clothing that does not conform to traditional gender norms, promoting inclusivity and diversity in fashion.

One of the primary growth factors of the gender neutral clothing market is the shifting societal attitudes towards gender and identity. The younger generations, particularly Millennials and Gen Z, are more likely to challenge traditional gender roles and expectations. This demographic is driving demand for clothing that breaks away from the binary norms of male and female fashion. Brands are starting to recognize this shift, leading to an increase in the availability and variety of gender neutral clothing options. Moreover, this trend aligns with broader movements towards social justice and equality, further reinforcing its growth.

Another significant driver for the market is the increasing influence of social media and celebrity endorsements. Influencers and celebrities who advocate for gender fluidity and non-binary identities have a substantial impact on public perceptions and consumer behavior. Social media platforms provide a space for these personalities to reach wide audiences, fostering greater acceptance of gender neutral fashion. These endorsements often translate into heightened interest and demand for gender inclusive clothing lines, which brands are quick to capitalize on.

The rise of e-commerce has also played a pivotal role in the growth of the gender neutral clothing market. Online retail platforms provide consumers with access to a diverse range of products that may not be available in traditional brick-and-mortar stores. This accessibility is particularly crucial for niche markets such as gender neutral clothing. E-commerce allows brands to reach a global audience, enabling them to cater to consumers from various cultural backgrounds who may be interested in non-binary fashion. Additionally, online shopping offers consumers the anonymity to explore and purchase gender neutral clothing without societal judgment.

In addition to clothing, the market for Lgbtq Pride Gifts is also seeing significant growth. These gifts, which often include items like rainbow-themed accessories, flags, and personalized merchandise, are becoming increasingly popular as expressions of support and solidarity. The demand for such gifts is driven by a growing awareness and acceptance of LGBTQ+ identities, as well as the desire to celebrate diversity and inclusion. Brands are responding to this demand by offering a wide range of products that cater to the LGBTQ+ community, further reinforcing the message of pride and acceptance. This trend is not only prevalent during Pride Month but is becoming a year-round phenomenon, reflecting the ongoing commitment to equality and representation.

Regionally, the North American market is at the forefront of the gender neutral clothing trend, driven by progressive social attitudes and a high level of awareness regarding gender issues. Europe follows closely, with countries like the UK and Germany showing significant interest in gender inclusive fashion. The Asia Pacific region is also experiencing growth, particularly in urban areas where younger, more progressive populations are concentrated. However, cultural conservatism in some parts of the world may slow down the adoption of gender neutral clothing, posing a challenge for market expansion.

    Product Type Analysis

The product type segment of the gender neutral clothing market includes tops, bottoms, outerwear, accessories, and others. Tops, such as t-shirts, shirts, and sweaters, are among the most popular items in gender neutral fashion. These items are often designed with a focus on comfort and versatility, making them suitable for people of any gender. Brands are creating tops that feature neutral colors and simple designs, appealing to a wide range of consumers. The demand for gender neutral tops is particularly strong among younger demographics who prioritize comfort and self-expression over traditional gender norms.

Bottoms, including pants, jeans, and shorts, are another significant segment in the gender neutral

    Female Oriented Game Market Outlook

As of 2023, the global market size for female-oriented games is estimated to be approximately USD 13.5 billion, with a projected growth to USD 28.7 billion by 2032. This represents a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.6%. The growth of this market is primarily driven by the increasing recognition of female gamers as a significant and influential demographic in the gaming industry, coupled with the rising demand for diverse and inclusive gaming content.

The growth of the female-oriented game market is significantly influenced by the expanding female gamer base worldwide. Traditionally, the gaming industry has been male-dominated, but recent years have seen a substantial increase in female gamers. This shift is driven by various factors, including the proliferation of mobile gaming, which offers easy access to a wide range of games. Additionally, the cultural shift towards gender inclusivity, supported by targeted marketing campaigns and the development of games that cater specifically to female preferences, is further fueling market growth. Companies are now recognizing the purchasing power of female gamers, leading to more investment in female-oriented game development.

The rising popularity of mobile gaming is another crucial growth factor for the female-oriented game market. Mobile platforms offer a convenient and accessible way for women to engage in gaming, contributing to its widespread adoption. The growing penetration of smartphones and improvements in mobile internet connectivity have made mobile gaming a pivotal segment of the market. Mobile games often feature casual and social gameplay, which are particularly appealing to female gamers. This shift towards mobile gaming is not only driving market growth but also encouraging developers to create more female-centric content, further expanding the market.

Another significant driver is the increasing diversity and sophistication of game content. Game developers are increasingly focusing on creating games with strong female protagonists, immersive storytelling, and complex characters that resonate with female players. This trend towards inclusive and varied game content is attracting a broader audience, thereby boosting market growth. Moreover, the influence of social media and streaming platforms, where female gamers actively participate and create content, is also contributing to the visibility and popularity of female-oriented games. These platforms provide a space for female gamers to connect, share experiences, and promote games that cater to their interests.

Geographically, the female-oriented game market is witnessing significant growth across various regions. North America and Europe are leading markets, driven by a high concentration of gaming companies and a strong culture of gaming. The Asia Pacific region is also emerging as a key market due to its large population of gamers and rapid technological advancements. The growing middle-class population and increasing disposable incomes in countries like China and India are contributing to the market's expansion. Additionally, the Latin American and Middle Eastern markets are showing promising growth potential, supported by increasing internet penetration and smartphone adoption.

    Game Type Analysis

The female-oriented game market can be segmented by game type, including role-playing games (RPGs), simulation games, puzzle games, adventure games, and others. Each segment offers unique appeal and caters to different preferences within the female gaming community. RPGs have gained substantial traction due to their immersive gameplay, rich narratives, and character development, which are particularly appealing to female gamers who appreciate story-driven experiences. Games like "Final Fantasy" and "The Elder Scrolls" series have seen a growing female fan base, highlighting the importance of narrative complexity in capturing this demographic.

Simulation games are another significant segment within the female-oriented game market. These games often mimic real-life activities and offer a creative outlet for players. Titles such as "The Sims" and "Animal Crossing" have become immensely popular among female gamers due to their open-ended gameplay, customization options, and social interaction features. Simulation games provide a sense of achievement and control, which resonates well with female players who enjoy building and managing virtual environments.

    Female Contraceptive Market Size 2024-2028

The female contraceptive market size is forecast to increase by USD 4.57 billion at a CAGR of 4.6% between 2023 and 2028. The market is experiencing significant growth due to several key factors. One trend is the increasing preference for contemporary contraceptive methods among teenagers and young populations, aiming to reduce unplanned pregnancies. Married women also continue to seek reliable and effective birth control options, leading to the popularity of various methods such as birth control pill, intrauterine devices (IUDs), and condoms. IUDs, in particular, have gained traction due to their long-term effectiveness and convenience. Hormonal IUDs and nonhormonal IUDs offer different advantages, with hormonal IUDs providing continuous hormonal release and nonhormonal IUDs offering a hormone-free alternative. However, there are challenges to address, such as irregularities in sex education in developed countries, which may result in misconceptions and incorrect usage of contraceptives. Additionally, surgery-related procedures for IUD insertion may deter some individuals from adopting this method. Overall, the market is driven by the need for effective and convenient contraceptive solutions for women.

The demand for contemporary contraceptives continues to grow as more women seek reliable and effective methods to prevent unplanned pregnancies. According to recent studies, the young population and teenagers represent a substantial portion of this demand.

Furthermore, the contraceptive pipeline is rich with new developments. For instance, dienogest + ethinylestradiol and Estelle (drospirenone + estetrol) are two promising oral contraceptives undergoing clinical trials. Dienogest, a progestogen, is known for its unique mechanism of action, while Estelle's novel estetrol component sets it apart from traditional oral contraceptives. Female population segments with specific health concerns, such as vitiligo patients and those at risk for osteoporosis, also contribute to the market's growth. These women require contraceptive solutions that cater to their unique health needs. The success of oral contraceptives has led to the exploration of alternative delivery methods.

    Female-Focused Digital Bank Market Outlook

According to our latest research, the female-focused digital bank market size reached USD 6.8 billion in 2024 globally, demonstrating strong momentum driven by the increasing demand for inclusive financial services. The market is set to expand at a CAGR of 18.2% from 2025 to 2033, with the total value forecasted to reach USD 35.2 billion by 2033. This robust growth is primarily underpinned by the rising recognition of gender-specific financial needs and the proliferation of digital banking solutions tailored for women. The evolving regulatory landscape and the rapid adoption of mobile banking technologies further accelerate the market’s expansion, as financial institutions and fintech innovators increasingly prioritize women’s financial empowerment.

One of the most significant growth factors for the female-focused digital bank market is the global push for financial inclusion, particularly for women who have historically been underserved by traditional banking models. The World Bank estimates that over 1 billion women remain unbanked worldwide, highlighting a substantial untapped market. Digital banks that cater specifically to women are addressing this gap by offering products and services designed around the unique financial journeys and needs of female customers. These include flexible savings options, microloans, and financial education resources tailored to women’s life stages, such as maternity, entrepreneurship, or retirement planning. As societal awareness around gender equity in finance grows, so does the willingness of investors, governments, and NGOs to support female-focused digital banking initiatives, catalyzing further market growth.

Another key driver is the increasing digital literacy and smartphone penetration among women, particularly in emerging markets. The proliferation of affordable mobile devices and improved internet connectivity has enabled women to access financial services independently, even in remote or rural areas. Female-focused digital banks leverage intuitive mobile applications and web-based platforms to provide seamless, user-friendly experiences that resonate with women’s preferences for convenience, security, and personalized support. These banks often integrate community-building features, peer support, and mentorship programs, creating ecosystems that foster financial confidence and independence. The ability to offer real-time, data-driven insights into spending, saving, and investing further differentiates female-focused digital banks from their traditional counterparts, attracting a growing base of tech-savvy female customers.

Moreover, the regulatory environment is increasingly supportive of gender-inclusive financial services, with many governments and international bodies implementing policies to close the gender gap in banking. Initiatives such as the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) emphasize women’s economic empowerment and access to financial resources. Regulatory sandboxes and open banking frameworks are encouraging innovation by allowing new entrants to experiment with female-centric banking models. Additionally, traditional banks are recognizing the commercial potential of this segment and are launching dedicated digital offerings for women, either independently or through partnerships with fintech startups. As competition intensifies, the market is witnessing rapid product development, improved customer experiences, and strategic collaborations, all of which contribute to sustained growth in the female-focused digital bank market.

Regionally, North America and Europe currently lead in terms of market share, thanks to advanced digital infrastructure, high female workforce participation, and progressive regulatory frameworks. However, the Asia Pacific region is emerging as the fastest-growing market, fueled by its large unbanked female population, rising middle class, and rapid adoption of digital technologies. Markets in Latin America and the Middle East & Africa are also experiencing accelerated growth as local fintech startups and international players introduce innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of women in these regions. Regional variations in cultural attitudes, financial literacy, and regulatory support create distinct opportunities and challenges, shaping the competitive dynamics of the female-focused digital bank market globally.

    Description

In 2024, there were around 719 million male inhabitants and 689 million female inhabitants living in China, amounting to around 1.41 billion people in total. China's total population decreased for the first time in decades in 2022, and population decline is expected to accelerate in the upcoming years. Birth control in China From the beginning of the 1970s on, having many children was no longer encouraged in mainland China. The one-child policy was then introduced in 1979 to control the total size of the Chinese population. According to the one-child policy, a married couple was only allowed to have one child. With the time, modifications were added to the policy, for example parents living in rural areas were allowed to have a second child if the first was a daughter, and most ethnic minorities were excepted from the policy. Population ageing The birth control led to a decreasing birth rate in China and a more skewed gender ratio of new births due to boy preference. Since the negative economic and social effects of an aging population were more and more felt in China, the one-child policy was considered an obstacle for the country’s further economic development. Since 2014, the one-child policy has been gradually relaxed and fully eliminated at the end of 2015. However, many young Chinese people are not willing to have more children due to high costs of raising a child, especially in urban areas.
