This data set represents the extent, approximate location and type of wetlands and deepwater habitats in the conterminous United States. These data delineate the areal extent of wetlands and surface waters as defined by Cowardin et al. (1979). Certain wetland habitats are excluded from the National mapping program because of the limitations of aerial imagery as the primary data source used to detect wetlands. These habitats include seagrasses or submerged aquatic vegetation that are found in the intertidal and subtidal zones of estuaries and near shore coastal waters. Some deepwater reef communities (coral or tuberficid worm reefs) have also been excluded from the inventory. These habitats, because of their depth, go undetected by aerial imagery. By policy, the Service also excludes certain types of "farmed wetlands" as may be defined by the Food Security Act or that do not coincide with the Cowardin et al. definition. Contact the Service's Regional Wetland Coordinator for additional information on what types of farmed wetlands are included on wetland maps.

A map of York County compiled by Geo.R.Tremaine and published by Geo.C.Tremaine in 1860. Map contains information about lot owners and their occupations as well as road information and bodies of water. This map was drawn using data from actual surveys which makes it surprisingly accurate for its time period. There are also depictions of historically significant buildings laid out around the edges of the map. The original print version of the map was drawn at a scale of 60 chains to 1 inch (a chain is a unit of measurement approximately equal to 20m)

A web map used to visualize available digital parcel data for Organized Towns and Unorganized Territories throughout the state of Maine. Individual towns submit parcel data on a voluntary basis; the data are compiled by the Maine Office of GIS for dissemination by the Maine GeoLibrary, and where available, the web map also includes assessor data contained in the Parcels_ADB related table.This web map is intended for use within the Maine Geoparcel Viewer Application; it is not intended for use as a standalone web map.Within Maine, real property data is maintained by the government organization responsible for assessing and collecting property tax for a given location. Organized towns and townships maintain authoritative data for their communities and may voluntarily submit these data to the Maine GeoLibrary Parcel Project. Maine Parcels Organized Towns and Maine Parcels Organized Towns ADB are the product of these voluntary submissions. Communities provide updates to the Maine GeoLibrary on a non-regular basis, sometimes many years apart, which affects the currency of Maine GeoLibrary parcels data. Another resource for real property transaction data is the County Registry of Deeds, although organized town data should very closely match registry information, except in the case of in-process property conveyance transactions.

Regular updates ensure alignment with changes due to redistricting, annexation, or other administrative modifications. The dataset is compatible with standard GIS software and adheres to common geospatial data formats and projections.

The Business Parks GIS Layer provides a comprehensive spatial dataset that maps the locations and boundaries of business parks within York County, Pennsylvania. This layer integrates detailed information such as park size, zoning classifications, infrastructure availability, tenant types, and accessibility. Designed to support urban planning, economic development, and commercial real estate analysis, the Business Parks GIS Layer enables stakeholders to visualize, analyze, and make informed decisions regarding business park distribution, land use efficiency, and investment opportunities. The dataset is regularly updated to reflect new developments and changes, ensuring its relevance for strategic planning and policy-making.

Road segments within this layer represent centerlines of public and private (not gated) roadways. Road segments define left (_L) and right (_R) side attributes and address ranges along the segment. The road centerlines support address geocoding, analysis, routing and mapping.The centerline represents the geographic location on the roadway between both shoulders (physical center), which often, but not always coincides with the center painted line dividing bi-directional travel lanes. Roadway centerline data plays an important role in transportation management and planning, while also being the basis for all other roadway-related data products.This feature service is updated daily from its source ArcGIS Enterprise feature class. County staff maintain the relationship between streets and the County Road Inventory through the RT_NUM field. The street ownership [ST_OWNER] designation serves as a source to determine the maintenance provider by municipal public works agencies who actively manage the road assets. SCDOT roadways can be confirmed by reviewing data within their lookup application or their source data within our One Map application.Railroads are contained within the streets feature class to enable cross street lookup (geodcoding), a requirement for e911 dispatchers.Street segments outside the county are present for cartographic and Public Safety dispatch of nearest vehicle (routing) purposes. These can be filtered out and removedAddressing data (streets and addresses) are used to update the US Census Bureau Tiger data in support of the decennial census. As of October 2022, the schema of these data are compatible with NG911. Previous schema remains as of January 2023 with intent to remove fields tentatively planned for 2024. Review the schema field mapping document (PDF) to gain a better understanding of field mapping used to transition these data to NG911 standards. Continuing NG911 compliance projects include splitting the centerline as they cross the city limit.
